An excellent hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

An excellent hotel in an excellent location right next to the river. Lovely restaurant with river views and an extensive breakfast. It is interesting to see the chefs at work. Very comfortable bedroom with working Air Con. Bathroom had both a bath and a shower. Nice to sit in the bar (or on the terrace) at the end of the day.

Lage okay, Service nicht gut

Die Lage war gut, direkt am Rhein und Innenstadt.
Tradionelles Flammkuchen-Kamin-Restaurant plus Thai-Massage-Studios, Kino etc. in der Nähe gut.

Cons:

Ich hatte das Hotel extra gebucht, um den Wellnessbereich mit Pool etc. nutzen zu können. Leider war dieser geschlossen. Das Hotel war sichtlich nicht gut gebucht. Ich war schon öfters zu Tagungen im Haus, wo auch viele Menschen da waren, dieses Mal war kaum was los im Hotel. Ich fragte, ob ein Zimmerupgrade möglich sei. Nein nicht möglich. Personal war wenig herzlich und wenig motiviert. Mir wurde ein einfaches, verrauchtes Zimmer mit Baustellenlärm zugeteilt. Mir wurden zusätzlich zum Zimmerpreis 50 Euro für mögliche Ausgaben extra auf der Karte belastet ohne mich darüber konkret zu informieren. Ich wollte das Hotel verlassen und Booking anrufen. Ich wollte gegenüber bei Ibis zum halben Preis buchen. Abreise wurde mir verwehrt. Plötzlich gab es doch noch andere bessere Zimmer im Haus. Mir wurde das angeblich beste Zimmer im Haus zugeteilt. Ich bekam ein Zimmer weiter oben mit Rheinblick. Auch verraucht, aber immerhin mehr fürs Geld. Ich wollte Room Service bestellen, da überall im Zimmer auf Zetteln und im TV der QR-Code auf Room Service hingewiesen hat. Aber nirgendwo ging eine konkrete Ansicht zur Speisekarte auf, um die Menüoptionen einzusehen. Ich bin dann außerhalb Essen gegangen, da der Service so schlecht war im Hotel. Ich habe ca 150 Euro für das Zimmer ohne Frühstück für eine Nacht bezahlt. Auf der offiziellen Hotelwebsite wird mit Preisen von ca 450 Euro/Nacht geworben, was das Zimmer niemals wert war. Im Zimmer hat es nachts laut gebrummt, egal wie man die Klimaanlage eingestellt hat. Ein Öffnen der Fenster war auch nicht möglich, da es dann laut zur Straße war, bzw man es technisch sowieso nur in Kippfunktion stellen konnte. Am WC ist die Plastikklappe des Spülkasten abgefallen. Sehr luxuriös, nicht. Personal hat bei Abreise auch nicht gefragt, ob mir der Aufenthalt gefallen hat. Die Hotelhalle ist sehr schön. Bei Tagungen wie gesagt, schöne Eindrucke gesammelt. Zum Übernachten noch Luft nach oben. Tiefgarage Hotel 27 Euro/Nacht.

If visiting Mainz, GE, this is the only place to stay! The atmosphere, location, service, food, location to local attractions, and amenities' cannot be matched by any other Hotel on the Rhine River.

Der Pool war geschlossen, stand damals nicht bei der Buchung!!
Personal beim Einchecken🙈genervt, lange Wartezeit, unfreundlich, überfordert und sofort bezahlen??? Das schließt definitiv darauf, dass sie nur Gäste im Haus hatten, die nicht liquide und Betrüger sind?? Unprofessionell! Sie haben wohl derart wirtschaftliche Probleme und haben deshalb unqualifiziertes Personal!
Thema Taxi, Thema Frage zu einer Lokation an der Rezeption , Katastrophe, keiner kannte sich in Mainz aus oder wusste ein Taxiunternehmen.
So werden Sie pleite gehen!
