Family stay – 2 adults and 3 teen children.
The hotel has a really nice interior and a cool vibe throughout. The location is also very good and easy to get around the city from. The concierge team were helpful before our arrival and organised a private transfer for us to and from the airport which worked very well.
However, there were several issues during our stay. Before arriving we had emailed and were told our rooms would be guaranteed opposite each other. When we checked in this was not the case and the rooms were actually on completely different corridors. We were too tired after travelling to question it at the time, but we did email the hotel afterwards and never received a response.
Both rooms were also quite noisy. One overlooked the railway line so there was regular train noise. The other room was above the courtyard area where you could hear DJ music and people talking until around 2am which made it difficult to sleep.
Another issue for us as a family was the bar policy. After a long day sightseeing we went to the bar hoping to have one drink together, but were told teenagers were not allowed in the bar area after 8pm. The bar was completely empty at the time. We travel to many 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the year and this has never been an issue before.
Overall the hotel looks nice and is in a good location, but because of the noise, the room situation and the bar policy we would not recommend it for a family stay. In hindsight I wish I had chosen one of the other hotels that were on my shortlist for Berlin.

Noisy on Saturday and Monday night until late, party’s in the bar area. Some soundproofing to keep noise away from the rooms would be a good idea

Geluidsoverlast van de bar die in het hotel is gevestigd. Herrie t/m 2.30 snachts. Harde bass. Volgende dag wel verhuisd maar geen enkel excuus/late check out/ what so ever.
