Staff that makes it different!
Pros:

Well, not the first stay in this hotel but somehow it indeed was worth a review.

Despite being a constant guest there, some staff members indeed made a difference. Not only I have now understanding of point system that the have with Star Alliance, but have special request notes for upcoming stays (hate when shower handle is not turned to the wall).

If I am not mistaken the name of the manager was Kate (night shift girl) who made it not only high service but customised and discreet.

Pleasant few days
Pros:

Great location.
Very stylish.
Spoilt by noisy guests on 2 nights after 11.30pm laughing with no consideration for guests in the rooms around them & also early in the morning on one occasion.

Cons:

Tea & coffee station in room not in a good position.
Price of breakfast.

Ok, aber zu laut. Insgesamt muss das Hotel aufpassen, seine 5 Sterne halten zu können.
Pros:

Schöne saubere Zimmer mit komfortablem Bett und Regendusche. Besonders schön ist der Frühstücksraum, der einen in die Zwanziger Jahre entführt. Das Licht ist angenehm gedimmt und das Frühstück ist gut und reichlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist topp. Direkt am Ku’damm ums Eck von Gedächtniskirche, Zoo und KaDeWe. U-Bahn Station direkt vor der Tür.

Cons:

In der Grace Bar, der anscheinend angesagten Bar des Hotels, wird von Donnerstag-Samstag Party gemacht und bis in die frühen Morgenstunden laute Club-Musik gespielt. Wir haben uns beschwert, weil wir nicht schlafen konnten und daraufhin ein zwar etwas leiseres Zimmer( dort donnerte alle zwei Minuten die S-Bahn vorbei), aber eindeutig schlechteres Zimmer bekommen, das nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Das Hotel ist also absolut nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte.
