Pros:

Nothing no options

Cons:

40 dollars for parking is insane for one night at least if I was told at front desk about the parking charge all I was told about a 80 hold not even in NYC a big city charge for parking per night at least let customers know is simple about the extra charge, breakfast no options only muffins and milk

Pros:

The bed was comfortable, 90% of the staff were kind and polite and very great location.

Cons:

The rooms were not clean. We found a lot of things in the room that was covered in dust and the toilets don't flush very well sometimes, most things are old in the bathroom, the fresh towels were dirty so I had to ask for new ones.

Even better than expected!
Pros:

I was so pleasently surprised by the quality of Hotel Zags! We picked our stay there for affordibility and location, and were not expecting to be blown away by so many great amenities. The restaurant/bar downstairs was great, there were amazing outdoor firepits to enjoy, there were boardgames available to use, the decor was fun and unique, and there were some cool events going on (like smores night!) that we would have loved to take advantage of if we had more time. Our room was comfortable and even though the building itself is a little older, the room was up to date with a nice mattress and decor. The staff was courteous, kind, and helpful. And also, dressed very Portland-fashion-forward!
Would recommend!

Well located with a nice gym benefit, but overall below expectations for a top-ranked property.
Pros:

Good location and complimentary access to a nearby gym one block away, which I used daily and appreciated.

Cons:

The room was consistently very cold (around 17°C in the morning), and the only way to stay warm was to run a very loud air conditioning unit continuously. One bedside lamp did not work, the toilet paper holder was broken, housekeeping did not come despite being announced for Friday, there was no door sign for room service, and breakfast was limited with disposable tableware and often no proper cups available.

Wonderful retreat
Pros:

I had a wonderful time here. It’s In a great location downtown Portland and close to a lot of amazing restaurants and things to do. I love how they have s’mores at 7pm every night and they have things to rent. I rented a skateboard, a scooter and a bike and it was a blast! They have a nice little breakfast also and it’s nice because they offer it until 11am which is later than most places.

Stay anywhere else
Pros:

Start to finish this hotel was awful. The room was incredibly warm with no way to cool it off as it is only set to heat and the fan did nothing. The Wi-Fi signal is so weak that you couldn’t watch anything as it kept buffering. The food in the restaurant tasted like school cafeteria food. Rooms are dated an old looking. I would never stay here again.

Cons:

Es el evidente generosidad del hotel y a tener cocinas el desayuno era medio limitado

Great hotel. Love the garden area and restaurant on site.
Pros:

The property is super cute and has a great aesthetic. All of the staff were professional and helpful.

Cons:

I don’t like that parking isn’t included in the price of the room. $40 per night is a lot just to park your car. I get it, it’s downtown Portland, but still expensive.
