The location and view from the room, gardens, sitting area at the beach and ambience of the restaurant
Old shower with cold water only one day; some staff are not customer- centric; question about pool cleaning
So close to the shore we had a beautiful view from our window. Two very good restaurants on location.
You do have to Uber into town but it's not expensive ☺️
Bello il posto è la posizione
Un po’ vecchio però comodo
I like the location & the ambiance/scenery around the restaurant by the water Jardin Escondido:)
The website advertise customs color room, but in reality it’s very plain color. Please update room color & more comfortable bed/chair
Buena vista y excelente alberca

Was expecting continental breakfast, you had to pay.
Lounge chairs very, very uncomfortable, cushions would have helped.
Location and food were great
The rooms are very outdated and falling apart, with cabinets falling off hinges, rotten wood, and termites.
my biggest issue was that they sell day passes for the beach and because of this there is never a place for actual hotel guests to sit down.
The best value for the money! Right on a beach with a great pool suitable for lap swimming, plus swimming off the beach at high tide. Poolside service. Fabulous deck dining over the water and a really special waterfront restaurant with excellent food. And a dock to land from your boat. Away from the crowds of the main town. A great place to hang out and do nothing, bean bag lounge chairs on the sand were great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars were the quality of the rooms (bathrooms need to be re-done, the rooms need upgrading), the rest is 5 star! A real GEM! And mermaid sculptures all around, and other great art!
This hotel is old. I think it used to be a nice place but a local told me the owner sold it and now lives in a big house on the hill. My feet got dirty walking barefoot in the room on the first day so I wore shoes the rest of the time. I had the suite with two bathrooms. The water pressure was annoying and one of the bathrooms wasn’t usable our entire stay. There was sewage smell coming from it. I asked the hotel to send someone to check it out. The guy was nice and did something and it smelled better for a bit but a few hours later the smell returned. I asked the hotel to send the guy out every day and it was the same thing each time. We didn’t end up using that bathroom at all and had to keep the door closed because we could smell it in the kitchen and living room. The one bathroom we did use, the toilet got clogged daily, I assume because the water pressure was too low to flush. This is from flushing pee and toilet paper only. I met some cool hotel guests and asked if they had the same experience. They weren’t experiencing the same smells but told me I was supposed to keep a wet rag over the drain in the shower, and I should dispose of used toilet paper in the trash instead of the toilet. I was also told by a local that the septic issue was common for locals in La Paz—that it’s a larger problem with older establishments. It’s just too expensive to overhaul the entire septic system. I decided to leave the hotel one day earlier than planned. (I would have left sooner but we had so many excursions planned that we wouldn’t have had time to check and switch to a different hotel midday.) The hotel manager was very kind and because he had a record of me asking about the sewage issue over several days, he said he would refund me for the one night we weren’t going to stay. He gave me his business card and direct contact. After I left the country to go back home, he wouldn’t answer my calls. After trying to call for weeks assuming that I just happened to always be missing him, staff started picking up the phone and hanging up—I assume they were told that if a call came in from my number, to hang up. I’m highly disappointed. I’m not a complainer and I have a hard time giving anyone a hard time even if I have had bad service, so I was far from rude in my interactions. I even apologized for having to ask for a refund. I would not stay here again.
Las habitaciones están bien
Hubiera estado excelente tener un kit de café en la habitación
Staff was very friendly and kind. Helpful and very accomodating to us. Beautiful views and nice sandy beach. Very pleasant bar and restaurant between the pool and beach. Loved our stay, muy tranquilo.
