History, the lounges, and the staff were fantastic!
We had to change rooms due to mold and the TV didn’t work. Staff were lovely to work with though.
Loved the experience and how the ship is being used for a hotel.
Loved that is was a great place to stay for the convenience of getting on our carnival cruise the next day.
I like that even though this is a historic boat, it was very comfortable.
The only thing that was a bummer is that we were going on the carnival cruise boat and even though we stayed the night at the queen Mary they wouldn't honor a discount because we booked through a 3rd party.
The quaintness of the ship. Restaurant and Speakeasy all aboard.
Thin walls
The art deco bar, furnishings and room.
The cafe was uninspired as was the food.
Living museum
Even though we agreed to a late check out at noin, between 10am and 12 am 4 times the cleaning staff came knocking on the door for getting the room cleaned…
Amazing decor and room.
Being able to walk around the whole boat the next day was great.
Engine room and propellors (viewed in the water from special viewing box.)
A light bulb wasn't working, so room was bit dim.
Portside room free upgrade was boring view - starboard side - Long Beach side would be nicer.
Breakfast was $29 on top. No late night bar on board - it all ended a bit early.
Parking also extra.
Art deco heaven, and the staff were all amazing
The history staying on a floating museum.
Very thin walls that you can easily hear people in the nearby cabins. Not being able to control the temperature in the cabin.
It's close to the cruise port.
Having stayed here before, we knew there was no climate control for each room, but this stay was uncomfortably cold in our stateroom. An extra blanket was provided, but that did little to offset the chill, it sounded like the a/c ran constant all night. Restaurants and the bar onboard are convenient, but it is recommended to go on into Long Beach for more variety.
It’s a wonderful experience to imagine what it was like. They do a great job of allowing you to visit the key areas of the ship. The rooms were comfortable and we had no complaints.
The elevators could be a bit hectic
This was a surprise and delight. Historical property with beautiful antique rooms!! Very comfortable.
I have nothing negative to say.
Excellent service, high tea, good food!
Main problem was some of us were freezing in the room overnight and some of us in a different room were sweltering.
Beautiful ship and great opportunity to enjoy a bit of history.
The ship is old and doesn’t have temperature control in the rooms. We had great weather, but this could be uncomfortable in heat.
Great location for taking a cruise & a wonderful history lesson. The museum exhibits are very informative
Close to port
