Ramada by Wyndham Ligonier

I was coming home from a roadtrip, and my original hotel had to cancel since their power went out. Ligonier seemed like a small town in the middle of nowhere, so I honestly didn't have high expectations that this hotel would be a nice stay.

I was totally wrong. It was an old building, but my room and the hallways were clean, and staff were very friendly. Great town as well! Easy walk to shops in the main downtown area.

'd highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling along US 30 and trying to avoid the PA turnpike.

The staff was extremely accommodating and professional. While the facility was older and dated, the price and the staff made up for it. There were noises from the antiquated security system and equipment, but it made our stay more interesting.

The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but the facility is in a pitiful state. The whole building and especially the elevator and rooms smelled very poorly, one of the ACs was non-functional, the pool was not open, the breakfast offering was meager, and the building in general seems fairly run down - peeling paint, stains, etc. I was disappointed I wasn't offered more of a discount since nothing was done to ameliorate the problems. I won't be staying here again, and wouldn't recommend it.

Can not believe Ramada puts their name on property. Very old and outdated. Overpriced.

Wanted to see a room before we made a reservation.

This place is a dump and should be leveled!
No recent updates. Overgrown weeds/grass not a welcoming curb appeal. Doors were dirty and sticky. Gross!
Gross gross! Smelled moldy! There were no cars in the parking lot if that tells you anything!

Dated hotel with a lot of deferred maintenance. Needs an exterior paint job. Interior painting of doors and hallway trim. Sofa in our room was scary. Rust around tub. Great location at a rate reflecting the quality.

I have been using this hotel for approximately 15 years and have watched the hotel go into disrepair each visit, this past visit I was extremely disappointed, nothing was at all like the photos on line, the dining room, bar and the breakfast are were all off limits, I was told that the ceiling was leaking, a make shift breakfast area was set up in the lobby, there were garbage bins through out the hotel because of leaking ceilings, the water pressure in our room was next to nothing, the awnings over the doors to enter the building from the parking lot were moldy. The hotel had a very musty smell, the only employees we encountered were the desk and a cleaning women. they were very nice but couldn't say much, I was told that the owners were not available. I paid a lot of money to stay there and was very dissatisfied. I should be refunded and will have to find a new place to stay when visiting my family. This hotel used to be very nice and sadly is the only hotel in the immediate area

Ok place to stay. Friendly staff but whole hotel in in need of a refresh. The drains are slow in the bathroom. The wall outlets are loose. Not a bad place but needs repaint and basic updates.

On January 31st 2026, we reserved a small ballroom at the ramada in Ligonier PA for a reception following my father's funeral. While we finished up at the funeral home, our guests went to the Ramada. When they arrived, the small ballroom was not appropriately set up for our event. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Our guests had to complete the set up. When it was noted that the size of the room would be to small, we were moved to the larger room. Again, our guests completed set up of chairs and were rudely thrown a stack of tablecloths to place.

Our food was catered from an outside vendor who was also treated extremely rudely upon her arrival.

We were charged an additional $250 for the larger space even though we were provided little to no assistance from the one staff person working, the room was frigid, and the coffee and water that were to be provided by the Ramada was not provided.

We were unable to locate staff when we had questions or needs after the initial contact.

My father died unexpectedly and so this was already a very difficult time made worse by the staff and service of the Ramada.

When we raised our concerns about the uncharge for the larger space, we received a copy/paste text response from the staff person to the manager which was then forwarded to us. Again, a very rude and disrespectful response.

All around, the facility and their staff made an already awful day worse and thencharhed us extra for the trouble.

Bed was comfortable and location of hotel.

The location was great. Ligonier is a wonderful and cute town. The ease of getting in and out of the hotel was very convenient, and the staff were very friendly.

Location was good, staff friendly enough, beds comfortable enough, appreciated the dimmable lights in the room, appreciated the quick availability

The breakfast was good

Breakfast was great! Hot eggs and sausage! Waffles, fruit, cereal, and pastry’s! Nice staff, price was good too!

Disgustingly dirty. I didn't like anything about the property. It should be burned down. That's how bad it was. I ended up leaving a day early because I couldn't stay there any longer.
