Check in went smoothly, however after arriving in room I noticed the feather pillows requested in the app the day before arrival were not there, I contacted the front desk and they eventually bought them up to us.
Room definitely dated and in desperate need to renovation, couch all stained, pillows are stained and pilled, wallpaper in kitchen is peeling off, fridge makes horrendous banging sound when ice maker is turned on, but as the hotel had no usable ice machines we needed this. Refrigerator is all dented, desk lamp has no plug, some power points & usb plugs don’t work. Cracks all over the floor in the bathroom, floor lifted in bathroom, shower head loose & spraying everywhere. Curtains hardly provide any darkness at night as there is so much light coming in.
Breakfast was sub par on both mornings, serving the exact same hot items, scrambled eggs, some kind of patties, possibly turkey, biscuits & gravy. Both days the eggs are revolting, slimy texture and taste, I think some nonstick spray is over sprayed into the pan. Both days the same meat patties, yesterday they were dry and overcooked and this morning they were barely lukewarm.
I travel a week a month and prefer residence inn for their great breakfast & changing daily variety of hot items. No grated cheese, no fresh fruit salad, no cold brew, this was one of the most disappointing breakfasts and stays.
Get away with friends. Hotel is being renovated, but the accommodations were great. Staff friendly, great breakfast. We will be back next year.

We were disappointed on arrival as our room was not what we had requested. I had called several times and realized that hotel was booked. Christian was on duty and immediately helped us in any way he could. He went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. It could have been an unhappy experience but because of his knowledge and caring spirit, we had a fabulous stay! Highly recommend this property

It wasn’t clean the door looked like somebody had tried to break in it hair was on the floor mold was in the shower and the refrigerator and freezer wasn’t clean

Great staff. Room was well cleaned and location was great. Property is going through a remodel but it isn’t overly disruptive. Quiet and secluded away from the craziness of the landing and Main Street.

This property did NOT MEET Marriott’s standards in many ways.
It was an older hotel but it was very well maintained and it was clean. The staff was very friendly and we wanted for nothing.
We chose this hotel because it advertised a whirlpool/hot tub and it has been filled with concrete. That was very disappointing. Other than that is was nice, clean and in a good location.
Booked a reservation there through Marriott's main site. When I got there with my family at 9:30pm they told me that they couldn't honor it and that they couldn't call me to tell me earlier. All my info is in Marriott's system so that was ridiculous. I've never had this problem at any other Marriott. This was completely unacceptable, and we had to find a last minute airbnb.
There are signs telling of future renovation plans. Well, they cant start soon enough. This Residence Inn is in poor shape. Cleanliness is lacking. My room had either dust or mold on all the air vents as well as the return air. Yuck! The ice maker was not operating in the refrigerator. I asked where there was an ice machine because it didnt work and was told there wasnt one and that it wouldnt be fixed until the renovation. I advised that ii'm paying premium prices for this room and that answer was unsatisfactory. I have stayed at many Marriott properties, but never have I experienced such a run down property. Carpets are worn through. Some windows are fogged because they have lost their argon gas. The selection for breakfast was pitiful. Next ti.e in Branson i will go back to the Castle. Half the price and mych better property.
I received a call today while driving down to the hotel. The call from the hotel was to inform me that they overbooked because it is one of there busiest weekends.
I was then told that they were NOT able to keep our two bedroom reservation and would be putting us into two, one bedroom rooms. I booked a two bedroom suite for a reason as i was traveling with three kids and wanted everyone in the same room.
This is UNACCEPTABLE. I have stayed with Marriott for 20+ years and NEVER been treated like this.
This hotel is very rundown and needs updated! We stayed 4 nights. The mattress cover and fitted sheet did not fit the bed so each night we had to wake up and fix it in the middle of the night. Never once was our room serviced. We were told that was part of the deal. Each time we needed towels, toilet paper or coffee, we had to go to the front desk and get it. Desk help was not overly friendly. The shower door did not shut and soaked our floor after every use. Our ice maker did not work and the hotel does not have a commercial one available for guests so with the 105 heat and no ice was not convenient at all!
