الموقع جيد قريب جدا لكل المرافق الخدمة جدا سيئة المعاملة سيئة لم يكن هكذا من قبل لقد جلست فيه عدة فترات كان مستواه جيد لكن الآن انصدمت من المعاملة منهم خصوصا موظف الاستقبال لقد دفعت مبلغ كبير لإقامتي مدة أربع أيام لكن حقا لا يستحق (شكرا)

Occidental Puerto Banus
Pros:

Great hotel in a fab location for the marina and shops. Room was a great size with a fridge and balcony. Super modern and clean facilities. Although close to the road you could not hear the road noise. We are looking to rebook for September.

I will be back to this hotel soon!
Pros:

The property was in a very good location. Walkable to most locations if not all quick 10 minute uber to places like Nao or Mogli. The area is busy so safe at night. The hotel it self i would say was quite nice, clean, I had a very nice room overlooking the pool area. Staff were super pleasant no complaints in that area

Family trip
Pros:

Our family joined a Gate 1 Travel tour which included a stay at the Occidental Puerto Banus hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, bars and restaurants, as well as a large grocery. The staff at the hotel were very professional and friendly always available to answer questions or help us with whatever we needed.

Occidental Puerto Banus
Pros:

I arranged a golf tour with 23 of my friends and we all stayed in single room accommodation at this property. I last visited this hotel in the early 2000's when it was the PYR Hotel. Since then is has obviously been bought and renovated and is a great hotel for golfers visiting this part of the Costa Del Sol. The hotel offers a very good breakfast and the rooms are very good with all the modern amenities. There is an added advantage that there is a fridge, kettle and sink in every room, which is handy. There is also a reliable safe in the clothes cupboard. This property is ideally located in Puerto banks but with all its charm and attractions there is a negative element in evidence and I would suggest you ovoid these areas of Puerto Banus. On this point there were two major concerns I had with this hotel. 1) Security is an issue in that there is none at The Occidental. Anyone can access the room floors and we had three negative incidents during our stay. Furthermore the pool area is not controlled and its was evident that young girls not staying in the hotel were making use of this facility. 2) The attitude of some staff is questionable, this applied in particular to the female pool attendant and some of the reception staff, which does need addressing by management. Other than these issues I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and give it a 5-star rating.

Absolutely great hotel, a few bits missing which can make it boring if you was there for a lot of time in the day, rooms
Pros:

Spacious rooms, Very clean, Very big and comfortable beds and pillows, nice breakfast, fantastic location

Cons:

Lack of staff by reception, Not much to do in the day time, music by the pool is very slow and sad, No general store shop in hotel for snacks, bottles of drink etc. Cleaners do not replace used sugar or milk, Should be an option to upgrade to a stocked mini fridge

Outstanding Resort Hotel
Pros:

We stayed here for a 10 day Trip with Gate1 Travel and couldn’t be happier! Great location, beautiful room and the food at the Hotel was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly with every need I had. Would only stay here if in this location again.
