Great central location near train station.

Cons:

We went during early March and the room was over 80 F due to central heating. The front desk assured us it would be cooler in the evening, with no way to cool the room besides opening a window to a loud street. It was miserably hot and we got no sleep. I’d avoid during shoulder seasons.

Fine hotel with easy access to the city or transport links.
Pros:

Well appointed hotel close to the Central Station. Plenty of good restaurants, the better ones are further away from the station. Breakfast was good, the bar pleasant enough, the room clean, comfortable and a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. Transport to get around Milan was easy with the Metro nearby or the Number 1 tram. 4 stars as one lift was often not working (my stay was over 3 weeks) otherwise I would have given it 5.
