The pool and the hot tub were very nice.. The view from my room was lovely. The staff was very polite.

I took a chance on this hotel despite its very mixed review history, and I’m glad I did.
The most important thing to me is cleanliness, and both the room and the property were very clean and largely free of that worn, grimy “ick” factor that some budget hotels have.
Our double queen room was spacious, helped by the hotel’s somewhat quirky bathroom layout. The vanity is located outside the bathroom, while the toilet and tub are in a compact separate room. It worked well enough and made the main room feel larger. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was that on the first night I could hear my neighbor snoring, seemingly through the bathroom vent. Fortunately, it wasn’t bad enough to keep me from falling asleep.
The complimentary breakfast is about what you’d expect for this class of hotel: powdered-style scrambled eggs, either bacon or sausage, a waffle maker, sugary cereals, sweetened yogurt, bread, and the usual beverages. Don’t expect fresh fruit or anything particularly memorable, but it was perfectly adequate.
The hotel also has an indoor pool and a game room, which would make it a good choice for families with children.
We were in town to see Big Boy, but the hotel is also conveniently located for visiting the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour, which I think is one of the area’s must-see attractions if you’re interested in the region’s anthracite mining history.
Overall, we simply needed a comfortable, clean place to sleep, and this Comfort Suites delivered. It offered good value for the price, and I’d happily stay here again.
I enjoyed the location and the beds were comfortable. Good sized rooms. The air conditioner worked well.
Our door stuck so badly that we had to spend 1-2 minutes yanking on it to get it to open. If there was a fire it wouldn't have been good. The bathroom floor was sticky, which I imagine was urine. The arcade was next to our room and it was very very loud. It was supposed to close at 9 but closed around 945/10. Our toddler had a hard time staying asleep. I felt like the room in general could have been much cleaner. Also the breakfast muffin my daughter was eating had mold on it. I wasn't happy about that.
Property was awesome - felt new - very clean - great location - just fantastic! Breakfast was great, staff were super helpful and friendly - plenty of space - great location. Great restaurant right next door and antique car barn - great shopping nearby as well!

Had a room opening when our last Booking.com location canceled without notice. Pool area was nice. Free typical hotel breakfast.
Shower water doesn't turn to cold. Hot only water in the shower. Expensive fir what it was.

The building contractor was scammer and the structure of the building is super cheap.the foot steps from above you can hear the walking back and forth from the room above very cheap very bad .

Terrible coffee, juice machine needs replacing. Out of forks during breakfast hours! Wouldn’t you think owners would send someone out to the corner store? Bad call!
