Would look for an alternative in future, not value for money
Pros:

Have stayed multiple times in the past and repeat customers due to location and off street parking. Basic clean facilities

Cons:

Reception indifferent on this occasion. Shower was dreadful- no pressure, barely able to get wet. Room was poorly insulated so a lot of noise from room above and next door

Very pleasant stay and we were able to chill as planned.
Pros:

It’s on the esplanade. Sufficient car park lots. Absolutely friendly staff. Cleanliness was top notch and sufficient lighting.

Great Hotel on the Promenade
Pros:

The Hotel was very comfortable and had a great ocean view.
It was very close to the Promenade to take long walks.
The Front Desk were very friendly and helpful and the Maintenance and Cleaning staff were very nice.
The supermarket was about 15 minutes walk away.
You can take an Uber from the Airport to the Hotel for about $21.

Cons:

The WiFi was ok and only worked in the lounge room but not in the Bedroom.

Very clean room, free parking, close to the amazing Guyala Cafe.

Pros:

Generous sized family room with queen bed, 2 single beds and small dining table. Clean and comfortable with a good sized balcony. Staff were helpful and friendly, large lounge area by the lobby to read or wait for check in/transfers. Would stay again!

Veldig fint hotell, rene og komfortable rom, og fantastisk personale. Alle vi møtte på vår vei var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Likte godt at hotellet også hadde godt med kopper, glass, tallerkener og bestikk så man kunne spise litt enkle ting på rommet.

Vi har bodd på flere hoteller i Cairns de siste årene. Dette var første gang på Cairns Plaza Hotel og vi kommer definitivt tilbake. Dette var et av de aller beste hotellene vi har bodd på. Og spesielt personalet gjorde opplevelsen enestående.

Pros:

We stayed in a "suite" (top floor) as opposed to a studio room, which was a great choice. It had a separate bedroom, a good size ensuite, small lounge with kitchenette. Two balconies and fantastic water views, as well as pool and off street parking.All of this and a short walk to the lagoon and all the eateries you could want; especially the best coffee in Cairns at Muddy's. Muddys also has a great playground for kids. The Aquarium was just around the corner as well as other cultural experiences. We had a great 10 day stay and totally recommend Plaza Cairns.

Well priced stay in Cairns! Very clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Well located hotel, very short walk to the cafes on the esplanade. Quick uber ride from the airport. The pool was lovely but unfortunately way too cold for me. Heated in winter would be preferable.
Room was well priced for 4 of us and we had a good sized balcony. It was nice & clean. Great cafe & playgrounds just across the road!

Happy to stay again
Pros:

Located a couple of blocks from restaurants etc which suited us perfectly.
A park with kids play equipment opposite would be handy for families.
The building is an older style but has had a tasteful and modern update. Has a lovely pool area and on site parking, also a guest laundry.
The apartment was very clean and had a handy kitchenette for easy meals, and a balcony with a view was lovely. It had everything we needed for our stay.
All the Reception staff were welcoming and very friendly.

Cons:

The bathroom had a shower over a smallish bath but it wasn’t too difficult to step over the tub edge.
