Quiet room on the upper floor. Comfy bed. Nice toileteries.

Didn’t feel safe on the Main Street between the hotel and the quay.
First room we were given was on the 3rd with a window looking directly on to industrial a/c vent.
The service is fantastic and the hotel has a lot of old-world charm.

I's a steep climb up from the waterfront
Vintage hotel, amazing decor but very poor modern amenities. We could hear other rooms around. Poorest wifi on earth. Google cast not connecting (took 2h then disconnected mid movie). Rock hard pillows. Undisclosed charges for changing towels & putting out garbage. Bedside light switch broken.
The Staff, the location and the accommodations were top-notch. It was quiet and easily accessible to eateries and Tourist activities
Just some minor feedback is that it’s confusing to get to the basement for the car park

What a beautiful and historic hotel . It was lovely and impressive. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! We were given a wonderful room on the 8 th floor with a card , bottle of wine and a cheese platter to help celebrate our 40 th wedding anniversary. That made us feel very special . Out of all of the hotels on our 10 day trip , yours was the only one that acknowledged our anniversary . It doesn’t go unnoticed believe me! When they say it’s the little things that make a difference , it’s very true ! I don’t understand the reviews that say hotel is not taken care of . It is immaculate and very well run . Towels , bedding, pillows and toiletries were awesome. Your doorman offered us waters while we were sitting on the porch . He was kind and professional. Our bellhop Kenny was engaging and very helpful. He said he has only been there 2 months . He asked my name and my husband’s name and opened the car door for me when we were leaving. First class employee! !Keep up the good work and we wish you much success in the future !

Really enjoyed our stay at the Lord Nelson. The hotel is beautiful, our room was renovated and much larger than expected! The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean and large for an older hotel. The staff at check-in was friendly and helpful.
The location is walkable to the waterfront, to some local restaurants and sites. Lots of food options right in the area and across the street from the beautiful Public Gardens.
Parking was easy, always lots of spots available and the spaces were nice and large and easy to maneuver.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
Great area centered around all the attractions polite friendly staff clean spacious rooms. Lots of restraunts and a mall just around the corner
