Great location
Having to buy breakfast
That it was on the beach.
Stains on the bedding, ants on the balcony, dead roach in the bedroom, mold in the bathroom, no air conditioner in the building except the rooms, toilet overflowing onto the floor and did not get a clean up- only a fan to dry it, promised a pool view and got complete opposite, only one elevator working causing delays constantly, rude employees at the bar.
The location on the beach and having a balcony.
The room and hallways had a mildew odor. The bathtub had mold. The carpet in the hallway was disgusting. The hallway to the rooms were dark and gloomy. There was a nasty roach crawling around the microwave area. I paid $1153 for 3 nights which was not worth that amount.
Very bad I talked to the hotel staff and I was just sorry
Lots of things
Only one working elevator
Very friendly staff. Very clean for a “pet friendly” hotel. Great location! Room and bathroom clean and comfortable.
One elevator has been out apparently for at least 2 years. So there is only one elevator for a fairly large hotel. We ended up having to take the stairs almost every time we left the room. Hotel was full for the holiday weekend. It was VERY inconvenient!
Requested a shower chair. They brought it up to the room, installed it, and corrected a leaking issue. The lazy river was amazing. The tiki bar was incredible. The beach was outstanding. The Perdido Beach Service and hotel staff were top-notch. Everyone we encountered were genuinely nice!
Requested room service and wasn't received. That evening we asked for towels. They didn't have any clean ones, so we had to wait an hour. We have a disabled daughter that relies on an elevator due to mobility issues. We were on the 5th floor, and there was only one elevator operating. One time during our stay, the one elevator stopped working, and we were stuck downstairs.
Good location and the pool was nice
One working elevator for 6 story building that was packed . Bar is good idea but bartender was nt very attentive. Bigger fridge would be nice or one with freezer.
Easy access to the beach
Charging for parking charging for towels and was told breakfast was included but got there and found out it was not
Elevator didn't work, standing water on carpet,
I was not able to check in until 530 due to rooms not being clean, they charged me 25 dollars for parking and only told me that my credit card would have 50 dollar incidental fee, parking is not an incidental, room smelt like mildew, there was no air in the lobby, they provide 5 floats for the lazy river so I suggest you bring your own float, told us to enjoy the amenities while we waited past 4 for check in, then does not provide a pool wrist band and we were told we needed one, had to go back to the counter to get it. Beautiful location but honestly that is all it has going for over 800 dollars for 2 nights just not worth it
The room had a bad smell, like maybe the carpet was dirty? Idk exactly what the smell was but the 4 of us all were very aware of it in the room when we would leave and come back… it was fine and we adjusted after being there but the original reaction of returning to the room each time was just kind of gross smelling. The elevator was broken the entire stay but that wasn’t too big of a deal as we just took the stairs. The access to the beach was fantastic, the pool was good but it’s not really made for the amount of people at the hotel on a June weekend. The staff was AMAZING.
Overall, the only real complaints is the cleanliness of the room. We did also have to return the towels to the front desk or be charged and no one made me aware of this until day 3 so I was panicking trying to find house keeping to ask for the towels back they had taken with the others.
Door would not open after having card re- keyed. Had to have the battery changed. Husband had to lay in hall floor waiting on maintenance due to not feeling well.
Pot smoking below us
The beach and pool area were nice
Only one elevator working. $19 for buffet breakfast per person. For $800 for 2 nights, complimentary buffet would have been nice
