Pros:

We had a room on the street which had a brilliant balcony in the sun. Room was a really good size as well and so close to all the action.

Amazing price for great location, but could use some updates
Pros:

This property is right off the French quarter without being super loud.

Cons:

It’s dated…the carpet could use replacing as it is frayed in several spots. It kind of smells musty, especially by the windows, and the bottoms of drapes are dingy. The coffee shop could use some help, there’s no ice machine so they are scooping ice from a cooler, and it’s small…but the coffee was decent. It needs a better display…not sure how to solve for that.

Clean and beautiful hotel. I felt very safe and the location was perfect
Pros:

It’s a great location! Super close and short walking distance from the main streets. It’s an older building but still clean. Has a lot of character. Staff was very friendly as well.

Cons:

I loved everything about this hotel. I only wish that they offered room service… I know the restaurant is separate from the hotel but it would be cool if they teamed up with restaurant and offered room service.

Great Location & Staff
Pros:

I went with my husband and our two kids. (9 & 12). It was fantastic. Close to the Riverwalk & aquarium; we walked there. Also walking distance to Steamboat Natchez. All of the staff was fantastic. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

You need to stay at the Hotel St. Marie!!
Pros:

We recently spent three nights at the Hotel St. Marie in New Orleans and it was amazing! The hotel is beautiful and is in a perfect location - very close to Bourbon Street, restaurants, shops, and bars - but it was a very quiet location. We never even heard traffic on the street in front of the hotel (and we were there on a holiday weekend). I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony and view of the courtyard. We drank coffee on our balcony every morning. The hotel staff is great - polite, helpful, and available. The customer service was off the charts! The rooms are large, very comfortable, and well appointed. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, comfortable place to stay in New Orleans, look no further than the Hotel St. Marie! You will not be disappointed!

Pros:

Second time staying at Hotel St Marie & not disappointed. The front desk people are stellar, especially Betsy! Always friendly & helpful. Quiet, clean rooms w/good beds & pillows. I love the balcony rooms! Centrally located to many places for the French Quarter. Counting the time when I can go back!

Great accessible family spot in historic quarter
Pros:

Fantastic experience. First off all the location is perfect A great access to riverfront, whole quarter and Louis Armstrong park. The staff was exceptional and was so helpful with little things including a pack and play for our toddler. Restaurant on site was decent. Was pretty quiet at night considering how close we were to bourbon. Bess comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

I liked the ambiance. ThecHotel St. Marie had an elegant upscale charm. It had a courtyard that
was completely enclosed with a pool, fountain and seating area; a nice place to enjoy a little reading. Some rooms have balconies that overlook the charming courtyard. The Hotel St. Marie has the most attentive staff. Jason was very helpful and attended to our questions. The other nice amenity is the on site parking. The valet was quick to retrieve our vehicle when we needed it. I can't forget to mention the location. When you walk out of the hotel's front door and take a left, the first street is Bourbon Street. So, you are in the thick of things, but you wouldn't know it

when inside the hotel because it's very quiet. The Hotel St. Marie is hidden a gem.
