Everything Lyon within easy reach
Pros:

I had a very pleasant one-night stay at Mercure Lyon Centre Plaza République. The hotel’s biggest advantage is definitely its location. It’s easy to reach from the train station, and most of Lyon’s main attractions are within comfortable walking distance. The area is also full of restaurants and cafés, so there is always somewhere nice to eat just around the corner.
The room was not particularly large, but it was perfectly adequate for two people. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was clean and in good condition.
I didn’t try the hotel breakfast because there are many cafés nearby offering varied and often more affordable breakfast options compared to the typical hotel buffet. The bathroom layout was well planned and the shower was excellent — a proper, comfortable shower, which is always appreciated after a day of exploring.
My interaction with the staff was minimal, but it was efficient, professional, and pleasant. I also noticed that the standard check-out time is 12:00, which is a nice touch for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning.

Cons:

Nothing major, but the hairdryer kept switching off every minute, probably due to a built-in safety feature. It wasn’t an issue for me, but it was annoying for my daughter.🙈

Approche rue stella impossible en voiture. On devrait être averti du parcours et des codes necessaires

Surprise par l’inconfort du couchage en décalage avec le standing de l’hôtel.

RAS. Tout était ok de ce côté là

Cons:

L’inconfort du lit 1 place avec le drap de dessous qui glissait au moindre mouvement à cause de l’aleze en papier et la sensation gênante des reliefs / coutures du matelas dessous. Sensations désagréables entraînant un mauvais sommeil.

Superbe comme chaque séjours à Lyon
Pros:

L'accueil est très bon, le personnel est agréable et sympathique. La chambre est bien équipée, propre. L'emplacement géographique est bien pour un séjour en presqu'ile.

Cons:

Le point négatif, qui ne sera que difficilement améliorable est l'isolation phonique entre les chambres. Cela n'a pas été trop dérangeant, mais pourrait l'être selon la vie des occupants d'à-côté.

Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé.
Le petit déjeuner est bien diversifié et de qualité.
Ma chambre était propre et d'une taille correcte pour une personne seule.
Le pass pour le parking à un prix préférentiel ets très pratique.
