Couples event lodging
Pros:

Its in the convenience of our shopping area and it was down the street from our venue we were going to. When we stepped in our check in was welcoming and friendly. Our room was well cleaned and cozy. Hour hour was a plus with 2 free drinks of choice from the chosen availability they have. Breakfast was phenomenal as always.. much to choose from and of course the made to order omelets are a must and dont forget to tip the cook at omelet station but not mandatory, just a nice gesture. We even was allowed to play our couple games in the lobby when we returned from our event. Just had to be respectful of noise because it was sleeping time so we keep our noise to a low minimum not to disturb the other guest.

This is the exact feedback I sent to guest services. They were unresponsive to my complaint
Pros:

It was in a good part of town. The lounge area was pretty with a fountain and the elevators were fast.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we are not impressed with this hotel. We have stayed with Embassy before and loved it. This one was not on the same expected level of comfort or hospitality as we experienced before. For example, the pool is very small and crowded with loud screaming children (who were barely supervised by adults). They were running around the small lounge chairs with wet feet screaming. (There is no where to go away from them bc of it being such a small space and pool.)
The gym is a very minimal room with no space to do Yoga and very few pieces of equipment--more like you would find in a person's home instead of at a nice hotel. The breakfast room was crowded and very young children were helping themselves to the food without parent supervision which meant little hands in everything. (I love and work with children all the time, but this was not acceptable.) The bed is as hard as a rock. (May is suggest either mattress toppers or new mattresses?)Probably, one of the big differences in this hotel and the other Embassy aside from the amenities, is that the staff here were not smiling or welcoming--which reflects on the management of this particular hotel. The service at the breakfast grill was sub-standard, with undercooked eggs served by a grumpy, apparently stressed staff. We asked twice for a spoons for our yogurt bc the spoon utensil holder was empty, yet still had to try to eat our yogurt with a fork bc it never got refilled.
This is the gist of why we are disappointed in our stay here. We will not be staying at this Embassy again. I sincerely hope this input is helpful and productive in helping you improve your guests experiences in the future.
