I can’t wait to come back!! They made Ventura special for me!
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious! The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! My favorite thing about this property was the staff!!! I traveled solo and they made me feel safe and welcomed. Thank you for that Amanzi!!!

General review
Pros:

Very nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious. While the coffee maker in the room did not work, they replaced it right away. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. The location is perfect. Maid service was great. My only recommendation is for them to have a regular light switch in the bathroom instead of a sensor. While it's fine all day, you don't want the bright light coming on in the middle of the night if you have to use the restroom

Very clean. Easy walk to beach and town
Great breakfast. Most staff friendly with on e very miserable exception. Love the happy hour offering too

Location next to busy 101 and railroad but I did know this before booking and only an issue when laying by the pool

Unclean
Pros:

Generally unclean room. Spider webs and living spiders. Carpet beetles on bedding and found on personal luggage. Odor coming from bathroom sinks and faucet. There was floating herb type residue in the coffee pot. Air conditioner was filthy and the vent slats were broken and noisy. It did work to cool the space. But unfortunately my husband and I woke up with a sore throat. Billing issue at check-in. We were able to have that resolved at check-out.
