Carpet needs replacing, terrible pillows, mould in bath but if you can get past these things it’s in a very convenient location for transport and access to attractions

Stayed here 6 years ago so decided to stay again. We will return in the future. Yes the rooms are a bit tired but the check in was slick , friendly and luckily available earlier than planned. Property is warm and comfortable. Location to Central Station/cathedral is perfect. It's a place i will come back to.

We were pleased that Michael at the reception desk gave us easy directions to walk to hotel from Cologne Hbf. He also gave us directions to an excellent restaurant for the next day. Our stay was good and the location was so close to the Cathedral and for walking around the area. The only negative was that our room faced the street, which was very noisy.

When I entered the room I thought it is from 80s. The floor was so dirty, I cannot tell you the color of the carpet. And it was extremely cold. The only good thing was people working, they were nice and smiling

The Room was dirty, dusty, and in terrible condition. The carpet has stains all over, the bedding has blood stains, and the toilet had fecal marks. The Room had no AC, parking at the hotel was nearly impossible, super narrow spots and narrow ramp to drive in. Terrible experience.

Good hotel, friendly staff, good location. Room was clean and comfortable. If I have one gripe and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, it was the see through toilet door. There are just some things I never needed to see my husband doing!

The hotel is just stone throw away from the central station which is very convenient.

Reasonable access to Railway station but some way from city centre .A couple of decent restaurants within walking distance though .Quite expensive for the size of room and the area but hotels in the city are not cheap anywhere. OK for stopover on rail journey.

Due to my mother on the road to passing away I didn’t travel and was then told there would be no refund. I also asked if we could move the date to December and was told no.
Customer service zero - not very happy at this very sad and stressful time causing us yet more stress.

While dated, a simple straightforward hotel experience.

Price of room and location good

The hotel staff provided exceptional service, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. While the room decor may be considered outdated, all amenities were in proper working order, including an excellent shower.

TRYP is basically across the station. It was very convenient to get in and out.
Staff was excellent and very helpful. They kept our luggage for us after check out.
The rooms may need some upgrade as it had old carpet, very outdated. furniture and no AC.

Last minute booking for the European Championships. Staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms a little tired and could do with a refresh. Great location right next to the main station.

Central location 5 minutes from Railway Station/Dom and only 15 minutes to old town.
Hotel rooms slightly tired but everything works and room attendants excellent at cleaning rooms and replenishing tea/coffee and towels etc.
Hotel would benefit from a/c but fans available if needed.
I would stay again.
