A very good location. Friendly staff.
Charges for parking. All floors are pet friendly which is a problem for people with allergies. Feels a bit dated.
Lovely clean modern hotel with reasonably good facilities.
Secondary glazing required for the bedroom. Extremely loud freeway metres from the bedroom woke me up very early.
Not keen on the adjoining room door either. Loud neighbours are not what I want to hear through a door.

I felt very comfortable with the place and very chilled vibes.
I think the communal areas and lift needs some TLC but this process is happening from what I saw. Bit of my room a little bits like broken tile and round the fridge needed some attention. Would say tired NOT dirty or dangerous.

They should steam clean the chairs to sanitize them more and get dirt out of them as well as check the furnitures far, no scratches or marks and the walls to make sure they keep clean and spotless!

⭐ 2/10 – Disappointing experience at The Anza Hotel Calabasas
My stay at The Anza Hotel Calabasas (Los Angeles) was unfortunately very different from what is presented in the hotel’s listing and photos. During my stay at The Anza Hotel, I had to change rooms three times due to issues with the rooms themselves. In addition, the hotel was undergoing renovation, which caused constant noise and made it very difficult to rest or work. Some amenities advertised by The Anza Hotel Calabasas, such as suitable spaces for working or meeting areas, were also not accessible when requested.
Communication with the management of The Anza Hotel was also frustrating. Responses were often significantly delayed, and none of the issues that were raised through Booking.com were properly addressed. Eventually, because of the accumulation of these problems, I checked out early during the first week of March. At the time, the hotel staff told me that everything was fine and that my early checkout had been communicated to Booking.com, since I was leaving due to the ongoing problems at The Anza Hotel.
However, more than a week later, I discovered that The Anza Hotel had not properly processed my checkout in their system, and I was still charged for the entire reservation period. This was extremely disappointing, especially since my early checkout had already been discussed and acknowledged at the property.
I would also like to mention that Sophia at the front desk was very kind, professional, and helpful, and Claudia from room service was also excellent and very responsive during my stay. Unfortunately, aside from these two staff members, most of the other employees at The Anza Hotel Calabasas were quite disengaged, with very minimal communication or interaction with guests.
Overall, my experience at The Anza Hotel Calabasas in Los Angeles did not match the standards or service one would expect at this price level. I hope the management reviews these issues carefully and improves both transparency and guest support for future visitors.
