Second time staying here. Good stay. Fun pool area. Room is crowded with bulky, dated, damaged dresser

Pool area is fun but needs better maintenance and cleaning.
Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Small room bathroom. Shower head dripped all night. Pool bathrooms dirty and had a rusted, dangerous exposed area on the wall where a paper towel dispenser and trash can should be mounted. Mold around pool HVAC filter and windows.

The location of the property is perfect. Away from the strip but close enough to get to easily.

Cons:

If I had to complain about anything, maybe the location of the hot tub in the pool area. It would be nice to have it more secluded from the pool.

Our stay at the Park Vista was good overall.
Pros:

The property was beautiful, clean, and matched expectations set by the website. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff members were all gracious, kind, and accommodating.

Cons:

The restaurant pricing was expensive, but it matched the high standards set by the hotel facilities; unfortunately, the actual quality of the food was more on par with a Shoney’s than an upscale hotel. $40 for an anniversary dinner was perfectly acceptable until we realized that we got a paper-thin, over-salted ribeye steak and undercooked vegetables. The lava cake and cheesecake both had the taste and texture of frozen desserts you can pick up at any big box store.

The breakfast was no better. Though we obviously can’t prove it, the food tasted pre-packaged and frozen. Ultimately, the restaurant, though visually pleasing, was a disappointment that felt like being scammed.
