not worth the money
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable!

Cons:

The room was not clean. There was a very long hair in the shower which did not belong to me - the day I checked in. Obviously the shower was not cleaned too well. The body lotion was empty when I arrived and the TV remote had flat batteries. The attention to detail was poor. I expected more when paying what I did upgrading to a "suite". The GF options at breakfast were extremely poor.

Room service was the highlight
Pros:

The room service was excellent.
Great food, great value, delivering staff were extremely friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cons:

Front desk wasn't welcoming, felt judged.
Didn't bother to explore as front desk made us feel uncomfortable to even walk around in there.
The courtyard room was good for the kids but expensive for what is was.

Unprofessional from the Room set up , to Not feeling like we got our Money’s Worth, due to the Facilities Not Providing
Pros:

The Hotel was Clean , Beds were Comfortable but actually too Soft , it felt like I was trying to get out of a Beanbag.

Cons:

Cleaners Black long hairs throughout the Bed sheets, On top & in between the sheets, No Milk provided for Tea/ Coffee Facilities, No Fox Sports or Movie Channels on TV, Room Air Conditioning Fan Unit Faulty, Constantly making louder noise the entire stay, Reported to Reception , offered a New Room on Last Night of Stay , but couldn’t be bothered moving all our stuff , then Guests next to us kept us up until 2am Monday Morning talking on the balcony , had to complain to Reception twice before the Noise stopped !
We Payed for the Top Balcony Room $900 for 2 Nights & $80 for Car Parking, NOT WORTH IT !
We felt ripped off &eft a bad taste in our mouths as Our Extended Stay was for our 27th Wedding Anniversary our Once a Year time for Us, was a Disaster 😤🤯🤬😭😭😭

Poor value
Pros:

The accommodation is dated and scruffy. The pool area is terrible and not clean. The hotel charged $39 per night for parking - there is free parking on the road behind the hotel. The worst part is that the WiFi does not work and is on their own admission an old system. The hotel also suggests that they can only support two devices per room - it is clearly not fit for purpose.
Novotel charge full price for the rooms probably because of its proximity to the beach but the facilities and services are sadly below par. Would not recommend !

Room was average at best, but the location does all the heavy lifting.
Pros:

Location, close to the beach and restaurants.

Cons:

You don’t need to set an alarm when you stay at the Novotel. In the morning, the constant door slamming from guests heading out or room service moving around will wake you up anyway. That loud “thud” sound keeps repeating and easily ruins what’s supposed to be a peaceful holiday sleep. So much for relaxing in, right? 😄
