Pros:

Sarah was the best receptionist I have met in the last couple of years on all my travel. Amazing customer service and very friendly, engaging and helpful. I also loved the location, great cafes around and a lovely vibe.

Cons:

Going with the reception area, the receptionist is quite exposed and unprotected. The room I was staying in also had a quite dates bath which I did not feel safe to use (the massage hobs did not look clean although I am sure this is more down to the dated state than to the cleaning effort).

Great location, too much noise from the Underground. Bit shabby. The staff were good.
Pros:

The receptionist on arrival was excellent - very friendly. The receptionist on departure was almost as good

Cons:

The underground trains kept us awake most of the night. There was no bedside light on one side of the bed. The lighting was quite low apart from in the bathroom. Both the bedroom and the bathroom needed repair and redecoration.

Pros:

The person that worked the desk was so friendly and so nice. Very welcoming. And the location was spectacular. I did have some trouble working the water in the shower, but that was probably just my fault. The bed was very comfortable and I had a solid nine hours sleep.

I enjoyed it because of the great location, just around the corner from Notting Hill Gate tube station.
Pros:

The staff are excellent and helpful. The location is superb. The reception area is pleasant and modern.

Cons:

Once past reception, the stair carpet is worn and dirty and needs replacing. It is an old building, and the plumbing is far from perfect. The place should be refitted and refurbished.

Lovely stay. Perfect location for exploring.
Pros:

Perfectly located for exploring Notting Hill and the city. Hotel was within walking distance of Notting Hill Gate underground station. This made getting around simple and stress free. I would have to say the big stand out for this hotel was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. I would like to make special mention of Sarah who maned the front desk during our stay. She could not have been more welcoming and available without being intrusive.

Cons:

The room was very small without space to put our bags.

Camera veramente pessima

La camera che ci hanno affidato non rispecchiava assolutamente le foto su booking, probabilmente ci saranno camere migliori, la nostra era al piano -1 con finestre che si affacciavano su un muro, camera abbastanza sporca di polvere e tenuta male.

Ci tornerei, ma con un'offerta di prezzo migliore.
Pros:

accoglienza grandiosa, la ragazza della reception, Sara, è stata molto disponibile, gentile. La struttura è bella, in una via vicinissima alla metro e a Portobello. Apprezzo che non abbiano ristrutturato stravolgendo la struttura originaria, ha un fascino decadente e anche se alcune cose sono un po' scomode, tipo i rubinetti con acqua calda e fredda separati, non è un problema. Comodissimo il letto e anche i cuscini, camera fornita di tutto perfino ferro da stiro.

Cons:

Avrei apprezzato una vista migliore. Aottingh hill le case sono strette l'una all'altra e io affacciavo su un muro di mattoni ma ho visto altre stanze con vista sui tetti: chiedete quelle. L'unica pecca vera dell'hotel è il prezzo: 320 per una singola due notti è tanto anche a nottingh hill, per un tre stelle.
