Wednesday evenings are particularly busy in our bar due to the local student night. As a result guests staying in rooms above the bar may experience increased noise during the evening up until 10:30pm. We recommend that guests who are sensitive to noise take this into consideration when booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The only positive I can give is in relation to the food, we ordered steak and gammon and I will give them a 10/10 yet I don’t like the wooden board they were served on you could see where previous knives had cut and I’m bad with hygiene and germs, yet the portion was 10/10, taste 10/10 value 10/10

The shower and the bed wasn’t too bad
My room stunk of chip Fat. That’s the worst smell in the world I think it was backed on to the kitchen and the windows was open when I got there , it was very noisy from the students drinking outside so didn’t really get much sleep
Plenty of room for parking. Nice fresh towels and bed linen.

Not a place my wife would stay at but as I was on my own it met the needs I had
Hard to find initially by car as the small car park is down a narrow street but had no problem with parking. Breakfast was very comprehensive for Continental breakfast and we ordered a cooked breakfast before departing home. It was good. Had dinner one night and it was good. There are a lot of extras such as sweets and apples, water you can help yourself too from reception and this is on top of hot drink facilities in the room.
Although we managed the stairs it could be an issue for some but this is an old building with no lifts.
