We had the most awesome time at the incredible island hotel. Staff were attentive and polite and went out of their way to help. Food was great, especially the fish, but the most amazing experience was snorkelling and scuba diving in the surrounding oceans. After 30 years diving some of the best in the world so make sure you spend time with Nicole and the team at the in-house dive centre!! We stayed in both water bungalow and then beach room - both awesome

Was my first time in the Maldives and this place did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this resort.

My husband and I stayed at the cinnamon Velifushi on the last leg of our honeymoon. This resort was the best possible way to end our trip as they exceeded our expectations. Our villa was spacious and immaculately cleaned everyday. The selection for the excursions were great, and there was always something to do if you chose not to relax at the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. Special thank you to Eema, who took care of us, answered all our questions and helped make the transfers seamless.

Had an Amazing time there and would be coming back.

I want to start off my review by thanking the Cinnamon Veluishi staff - they were absolutely incredible. Answering any questions we had, chatting with us, very quick to service and help us - everything done with a smile. Special shout out to Hameesh (our server during meals), Pooja (assistant dining manager), Hamad at front desk, Muhammad (brother of Hamad), Ahnas (young server at the pool bar), Naufal (bartender at Iru Kitchen) and DJ Kaur. These special individuals really made our stay as incredible as it was. Food was amazing for buffet style and I could tell the hotel put a lot of effort in ensuring we don’t get sick of it as it was quite different styles and cultures of food every day, which I appreciated. Another thing I appreciated about the hotel is their efforts to keep us entertained! Every afternoon and evening, they put on a special event such as karaoke, live band, DJ, pool party, movie night. There’s also a ping pong table, volleyball court, billiards, a bunch of books and several board / card games to keep you entertained. On to our room - absolutely loved it. Waking up to the beautiful turquoise waters and taking a dip before breakfast every morning, was such a dream. Very clean and the bed was so comfy. They decorated our bed for our check in (it was our honeymoon) which was a beautiful, personal touch that we appreciated - came with a complimentary plate of fruit and bottle of wine. This was my first all inclusive and I’m grateful that it was with Cinnamon!

Amazing, simply exceptional! My wife and I loved the resort. Large, clean rooms with everything you need. A great big bed, excellent showers and facilities (gym etc). Such fantastic service too! I would recommend the Premium all Inclusive as this package includes two day trips to nearby islands (which are amazing *Thanks Shakeel!) and a couples massage. Overall 10x stars!!

Staff in the Restaurant, bar, beach and servicing the water bungalow were excellent. Very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. They were very attentive to all of our needs. However, more attention could be paid by the management to ensure transfers to the accommodation were handled properly. Spent a lot of time on arrival waiting for a seaplane to take us to the accommodation and then had to transfer to the attol by speedboat from another one anyway. The transfer back to the airport on departure was a disaster. Initially we were given a 1.00 pm transfer time which was changed at short notice to 3.30 pm. This would have been ideal if we were contacted about this in earlier on the day. Instead we arrived at 1.00 pm at reception to be told this after we had packed all our beach wear in our suitcase. Some of the trips that were available weren't widely publicised in reception so we missed out on these. Despite the excellent service at the restaurant and bar, we were expecting another restaurant and bar to be available. Apparently, these are currently closed for refurbishment. These comments reflect why I can't give a 5 star rating.

My stay here was nothing short of excellent. The property was clean and looked just like the photos. The staff was nice, accommodating, and just made my stay and honeymoon magical and memorable. I would definitely recommend this property to every and the Maldives any day.

The resort and the staff were amazing.

The executive chef Chau was a highlight of our trip. She was always so friendly, welcoming and up for a chat! The menu had a great variety and changed daily so you could always try something different.

Location was perfect for snorkling, however, bring your own snorkles as they are not included and can add up very quickly over a few days.

The suites are definitely worth it as they were amazing!

An absolute place of utter luxury and wonderful attentive staff across the entire Island resulting in an amazing vacation

The resort is very beautiful and immaculately maintained. It is quiet and relaxing, the sand sea and pool are all fantastic. The bar service is very relaxed, so patience is required.

We stayed at the resort for our honeymoon in one of the sunset water villa rooms. The resort blew away our already high expectations with their service and the facilities. The staff accommodated our requests and everything required for our stay was available at the resort. Special mention goes to the staff at Iru restaurant, the dive centre and the spa (we visited twice!). Would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a place to experience Maldives!

The staff were so lovely. The chefs were so engaging and they made the meals an experience. The Dive centre was so convenient, safe and friendly. Best Diving and very affordable. Loved the experience because of the people.

Worst experience ever, I flew all the way from the USA thousands of miles with my pregnant wife, to come to encounter the worst experience of our life. I was staying for 5 nights.
Wife is pregnant and the speed boat both ways didn’t care about it and I informed them to reduce the speed during transport from the airport to the hotel. We were literally jumping from our seats from the speed of the boat. I checked in room 418 with a jacuzzi. second issue I wanted to change my package upon arrival before paying from all inclusive with alcohol drinks to full board instead. Management said we can remove alcoholic drinks since you don’t drink but we can’t change the price because it’s all calculated together into your stay. Third, we went next morning for breakfast come back to see room service didn’t even dare to change the mattress covers bathroom towels were changed room was rearranged and organized but mattress cover were the same we had a blueberry stain and came from breakfast to see the same covers.
Forth, as mentioned wife is pregnant we often requested a cart. Their response was we only have one cart, another respond was we only use it for emergency, my respond to them SHES FREAKING PREGNANT IN HER FINAL MONTHS CANT WALK
Fifth issue we go check out the jacuzzi find out that it’s rusted and paint pealing and metal showing Excuses me… I’m not paying thousands of dollars to come sit in rusted jacuzzi. Will be filing claim

The place is good. The island is amazing. The hotel is a little bit old. In our experience they don’t offer activities, so, in consequence is boring most of the time. The prices for activities are really expensive compared with what they are offering. We book 2 rooms (for me and my family) and the experience is the same for all of us. We book for the bungalow over water and the beach that you have access directly from the bungalows has a lot of rocks, so you can not have the “Maldives experience” entirely going down to the water from your room because is dangerous and not pleasant at all.
The communication with the resort is by email through a third part office in Male, so they take long to reply.
They basically kicked us out the room 15 minutes before the check out time, they started to ring the bell non stop and demanding that we gave them our packet suitcases.
The swimming pool is in poor condition.
The options in the all inclusive are limited.
The Staff is really nice. But Don’t expect an amazing experience in this resort.

This property was amazing! I celebrated my birthday solo and this was by far a peaceful and serene property. I had a water bungalow suite and it’s beautiful. I was able to snorkel right in my backyard if my room. My room was super clean they have wake up and turndown service if requested. The staff is so welcoming and they will remember you your entire stay. Every restaurant, front desk, excursion rep knew the exact day of my birthday they had a surprise every time I arrived. They decorated my room for my birthday as well. The morning of my birthday I participated in Zumba at the restaurant deck. The spa omg is the best spa service I’ve ever had. They start off with with a cup of tea and then they let you sample all of the oils and you choose one for your massage. I reserved the massage with 2 women that massages me at the same time they also gave me a birthday gift after my services ended. I will definitely be back to visit. If you do not like spending time alone then you should definitely visit with a significant other, but if you just want peace and time to hear your thoughts then this is the property for you. They also had a night beach party for the hotel guests, pay a small fee to join in with a DJ, unlimited drinks and fun. Now I would say be mindful the island bars usually shut down by 12a or earlier. Seemed like the people visiting the island went to sleep early every day lol.

It was our first time to Maldives and we were so glad that we have chosen Cinnamon Velifushi.

The view from the sunset water bungalow was AMAZING, day and night. During the day we could see three different shades of blue in the ocean; in the evening we could see sunset and at night we could lie on the sun bed and do star-gazing. It was a different sunset and nightfall everyday, and everything feels so unreal like it was straight out from a painting.

We could jump straight into the water under our water bungalow and snorkel. There’s so much marine life down there even though it was only around 0.5m to 1m deep. Life jackets were also provided in the room. It was perfect for beginners to try out snorkelling conveniently and safely. We saw 3 baby sharks, 1 stingray, school of small fishes and many more!

There were many activities and excursion choices available from the resort. As we were in the premium all inclusive package, we had 2 excursion choices and one dinner at the beach. We went to the sandbank and it was such an experience! There was only another couple who went with us and it felt like we had the whole sandbank to ourselves. The water was so clear and the sand was so fine. Love the ambience at the dinner by the beach as we could really see stars in the sky.

There were some hiccups here and there but ultimately they were resolved promptly. Staffs were polite and nice.
