Great City Break Hotel
Pros:

Great hotel for a city break. Great location 10-15 walk to centre and also bus and train station. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly ( Neska?? especially) Rooms were clean and comfortable (maybe a little too hot). Lovely choice for breakfast. Would definitely return.

Not a 4 Star Hotel

Location near bus and train station 7 min walk
we took bus to airport 4 euros and to lake bled 7.5 euros

Really hot hard to control temperature
Hotel needs upgraded definitely not a 4 star and old fashioned
Shower floor just like rough cement
Safety deposit box not attached to anything and right beside the door
Lift can be busy as large groups of guests
No fridge in room
Bathroom walls touched up paint with wrong colour chips off paint off walls
All walls badly marked and 1 mark looked like blood

Pros:

Emplacement idéal et petit déjeuner varié. Une belle vue sur la ville depuis les étages élevés.

Cons:

Chambres surchauffées et qu'on ne peut aérer. Ça empêche vraiment de bien de dormir.

Le large choix au petit-déjeuner et la qualité des produits
La taille de la chambre et l'emplacement du lit loin de la porte, donc protégé de la lumière et du bruit
La qualité de la literie

Cons:

La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans les chambres de l'hôtel pendant les trois nuits de mon séjour. Impossible de faire baisser la température, ça se contentait de brasser l'air ambiant.

La lenteur des ascenseurs.

Wonderful staff and great location!

No AC because of HVAC system was not turned over for the season. Still in heat mode.

Family trip to Ljubljana
Pros:

We are a family of 4 with kids aged 15 & 8 on a 4 night stay in a Junior Suite.

On arrival the check in experience was pretty smooth. We were allocated a room on the top floor (13th) with a nice city view. The junior suite wasn’t so much a suite. It consisted of double bed, sofa bed along with a table and a couple of chairs. There wasn’t much room to move around.

The room was clean, there was a small fridge, tea & coffee and bottled water was replenished daily.

Pros

Great location. Short walk to train / bus station and central Ljubljana
Decent breakfast offering
Daily room cleaning, fresh towels
Supermarket across the road

Cons

Elevators can be temperamental. Prepare to stop at every floor during busy periods
Air conditioning is almost non existent. (Our room got very hot at night)
Not much storage space (I think we had 8 coat hangers and a small drawer)

In summary, it was OK and done the job for us. We were out most of the day so really only used the room for sleeping in.

And finally…. I fancied a beer one evening so headed down to the hotel bar. I was the only guy there which clearly must have annoyed the bartender (older man) as he was so grumpy. Not a great experience unfortunately.
