Great vacation hotel
Pros:

The location of the hotel was great. The upkeep of the hotel was great. The room was well thought out.

Cons:

Parking was expensive. And paying for a microwave in 2026.

Wonderful hotel
Pros:

I love Ocean Park Inn and this was my second visit. The location is right on the boardwalk and only steps to the sand and ocean! The balconies are a little small, but room enough for two people to sit and enjoy an incredible view. The boardwalk is over three miles long and there are a ton of restaurants in the area, as well as souvenir shops. It can get a little noisy early in the evening as local musicians like to play to the crowds walking by on the boardwalk, but it's usually quiet by 9pm
The staff are extremely nice and the hotel is very clean and maintained well. The Ocean Park Inn is one of the top hotels in Pacific Beach!

A nice weekend at Pacific Beach
Pros:

The beach is just across the street

Cons:

The loud music from the restaurant right next to the hotel was unbearable. The pool is very small. Breakfast was minimal. Overnight parking was expensive.

Awesome location
Pros:

Beautiful location! Right on the beach, with great views and nearby restaurant options. Pool/hot tub were a nice bonus! Staff was super nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and the whole hotel had great decor. The fish tank in the lobby was so cool! And the optional add ons were a nice touch.

Ok.. 55th bday stay
Pros:

Came for my 55th bday..Overall was ok...the beach view saved the day...limited and high parking fees no added security for the fee and thin walls..Don't bring any music to the room or portable speakers its not allowed..Breakfast was ok..ecxept powdered eggs..a bit pricey overall..

Pros:

What an amazing property. Clean and quaint. Location is top notch and the staff was just greatness!! Their recos were spot on. The vibe of pacific beach is next level and we were right smack in the heart of them all. We immersed ourselves w what PB had to offer.

Pros:

Breakfast was good. Location was great. Right on the beach. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Pool is adequate

Cons:

It’s very noisy in the morning on the first floor. Lots of slamming doors.

Great location but homelessness come with the great view, room is small for a $550+ per nite.
Pros:

Friendly concierge. Special mention Jonathan. The homeless is one big negative part of this experience. They are noisy and obnoxious . First thing u see and hear in the mornings and last at night. They are sleeping everywhere on the grass right on the hotel grounds at all hours of the day and you cannot take a good view photo without them in it because they are part of the whole thing u pay for basically when staying at this hotel.

Very, very loud at night. It is next door to a club. They give you earplugs with your room, which tells you exactly how the night is going to go.

Best place and location ever.everything was close by. Beach, restaurants, store.

Great location, Fantastic hotel on the beach.
Pros:

It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, and the bed was comfy. Staff was fantastic, very helpful, breakfast was very good having hot food helped tip the scale. location was perfect, right on the beach, great to go walk on the beach in the morning and evening - and... looking at sunset was amazing. we have decided to always return there when we visit San Diego. near a ton of great restaurants, coffee shops, everything!

Nice Hotel!
Pros:

Overall my stay at Ocean Park Inn was a positive one. Every member of the staff was nice and the view of the ocean and being right on the boardwalk can't be beat! You are within walking distance of many great places to eat etc. The pool was very warm and the hot tub was nice. Free breakfast was also a nice perk. We used Lyft to get around, and it was much more cost effective then a car overnight as parking is expensive. However, I did travel with my two small kids, and we were a bit taken back by all the homeless people camping directly outside of the hotel. I paid for an ocean view which was amazing outside of viewing the homeless every night, and not being able to open the balcony doors due to the nonstop smell of weed. There are also quite a few mentally ill people roaming around right outside the hotel yelling about "God" etc to however will listen. This isn't the hotels' fault but just some points to consider during your stay.
