We got a queen bed room when we requested a king bed. We traveled a long day 9+ hours and even after confirming king room we got a queen room.

Nice hotel for a good price in San Fransisco.
Pros:

Room was cute and everything was cleaned and as advertised.

Cons:

The bar was closed at odd times and the staff did not seem to know anything about the bar hours, as if the bar and hotel were entirely separate. That may have been the case, but it would seem like front of house hotel staff should have the basic info, like if the bar is open or not.

A little worse than expected for a Palihotel property, but I only came for a night so it was ok
Pros:

Excellent overnight staff member at front desk. She was absolutely incredible. Good design and branding and overall aesthetic

Cons:

The room smelled like sewage, the bed didn’t have a comforter on, it only a sheet and an optional blanket

Cons:

The washroom door hinge was already broken and we informed the cleaning guy and reception lady, still didn’t return our deposit. They told us before that we didn’t need to change our rooms as we extended our stay, and called us back evening to change rooms or housekeeping will move your stuff they said . So we came back and moved our stuff and ruined our evening. And then their washroom door hinge lock was broken already and we informed them. They said that’s fine then. But now I checked they didn’t even return 100 dollars damage deposit for the damage we didn’t even do. Despite that hassle of switching rooms we didn’t say a word. But that’s not fair.

Ich komme wieder.
Pros:

Super Zentral gelegen, alles zu Fuß erreichbar.
Tolles altes Gebäude, man taucht ein bisschen in die 1930 Jahre ein.

Cons:

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war eine Katastrophe, man wurde kaum nass.

Front staff were lovely and the room was large and comfortable!

Cons:

Unfortunately just in a very loud part of the city - was woken most mornings by rubbish trucks. There is really a lack of facilities as well, no gym or lounge area to work from. Good for a basic stay!
