Hall cheio, mas nada que desabone o hotel
O hotel é bonito e bem localizado, mas houve cobrança indevida no cartão de crédito.
No momento do checkin eles pediram $500,00 de garantia, porém eles não cancelaram a cobrança após o checkout mesmo não tendo nada ocorrido, e ainda acrescentaram mais $73,00. Tenho a sensação de ter levado um golpe.
The hotel is in an exceptional good area with great transport links, food options and sights locally accessible and available. The rooms were very clean, the TV was good and the cleaning team were always so helpful.
Firstly, I was charged twice for my stay, and additional charges continued to appear even after I had already paid the full amount prior to my arrival. This was particularly concerning, as I had taken the necessary steps to ensure that my accommodation had been paid for in full before my visit. I appreciate that management ultimately addressed and resolved the payment issue; however, the situation caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience and should not have occurred in the first place.
The experience at reception was also disappointing. There was consistently a very long queue at the front desk, which gave the impression that the hotel was significantly understaffed. More concerning, however, was the attitude and manner of some of the front-desk staff. Their tone was often extremely rude, abrupt, and unwelcoming. Staff frequently appeared as though they did not want to be there, and their interactions came across as aggressive, dismissive, and lacking in basic customer service. For a hotel operating at this price point, guests should be met with professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to assist.
While I acknowledge that management did eventually resolve my payment issue, the overall handling of the situation, combined with the poor reception experience, negatively affected my impression of the hotel.
The rooms themselves were clean and reasonably well maintained, which is a positive. However, the lack of amenities provided relative to the price paid is difficult to justify. Given the cost of the stay, I would expect a substantially better level of facilities, services, and in-room amenities. The current offering does not feel proportionate to the price and does not provide the level of value or overall experience that one would reasonably expect from a hotel charging these rates.
The location is perfect. Very central and you get anywhere quite quickly.
The staff was very friendly and Joe went above and beyond in making sure I enjoyed my stay.
