Our room was directly across from the elevator entrance and it was loud all night long. With a baby and toddler, no one slept because of the noise. The fore alarm flashed all night long. It wasn’t noted parking was valet only for $35. Not worth it!

The rooms are very nice, they do valet parking, and they let you come and go and the beds are great.

My stay was excellent. They fed us every morning with snacks in the evening .

When you say property I have to rate inside and out . Outside you have places you can grab a meal and snack . Inside the hotel itself is very clean, friendly staff, and great food . Housekeeping is excellent. I have stayed at many hotels some rated as five stars but this one was the cleanest I’ve ever seen . The bedding was Snow White , I used my blue light and couldn’t find a speck on the linen down to the mattress cover. I normally don’t let top cover touch my face however I felt comfortable here. I would rate this establishment more than a five star.

Cons:

Disliked the price of parking per day , I feel if you’re a customer it should be cheaper. It’s $35 per day with valet ONLY .

Cons:

The person checking us in was not very pleasant. He seemed very frustrated and it showed when he was communicating with me. I was so upset, I left and walked into the bar area and had my significant other complete the check-in process.

I have never stayed at a hotel with such terrible soundproofing. You could hear every single footstep someone made in the hallway. It was basically as if our room door was wide open. You hear EVERYTHING.

This was honestly one of my worst hotel stays ever.

The room itself was okay, except for the fact that it clearly wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. For instance, swimming goggles were left under the bed by a previous guest. It makes you wonder what else was overlooked during cleaning, although that wasn’t even the biggest issue with our stay.

1. The 5:30 AM Alarm – A Complete Nightmare

Apparently, the previous guests had set the alarm clock in the room for 5:30 AM. We had no idea, as we never touched the alarm clock on the nightstand and it didn’t even cross my mind to check whether an alarm had been set.

At 5:30 in the morning, the alarm went off and practically gave me a heart attack. I had no idea what was making that noise or why.

Mind you, we are parents of a toddler who finally had a child-free weekend. We specifically wanted to sleep in, especially since checkout wasn’t until noon.

The fact that housekeeping or whoever is responsible for preparing the room didn’t reset or check the alarm clock is completely unacceptable.

2. Absolutely Horrible Soundproofing

I have never been in a hotel with such thin walls, doors, and windows.

At 7 AM, children were shouting, running up and down the hallway, and kicking doors. We booked a room at the Marriott, not a summer camp.

I was not expecting that at all.

You can hear every single thing happening in the hallway outside your door. Every footstep. Every conversation. Every noise.

The soundproofing is practically nonexistent, and it completely ruined our stay.

3. No Access to Fresh Air

It was also very disappointing to discover that the window in our room could not be opened at all.

Pros:

Walking distance from the Retro club we went to, and restaurants. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

Cons:

The road construction, but that's not their fault.
