The staff was very nice, but I might look for a different place next time I’m in Walnut Creek.
Pros:

It was close to the places we were going. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. I liked that there was a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. The elevator came quickly. The lobby was beautiful. The valet parking staff was reliable and courteous, but I prefer self parking.

Cons:

I didn’t like that you only have valet parking. I didn’t like that there was only one bedside table on one side of the bed, and no table on the other side of the bed. I didn’t like the door that slid between the bathroom and the closet. It was difficult to slide, and dangerous if you were coming out of the bathroom and didn’t know that someone was looking in the closet. I would have liked to have more stations on the television.

Had breakfast in the restaurant this morning it was great good value good quality food. Check-in process was easy. Parking was good.! great choice for a quick staycation

Overpriced and outdated
Pros:

Location was fine and bed was comfy.

Cons:

Room was dark with no daylight, ugly uncozy lighting, only two types of tea and a terrible little keurig, the hallway smelled like feet. You also have to become a bonvoy member just to have WiFi. Incredibly expensive valet parking. Overall just not worth the price.

Nice hotel bad service
Pros:

Property is clean and rooms are spacious.

Cons:

I was double charged for the room, manager said they would refund me 2 days after check out. It has now been 3 weeks no refund. I’ve talked to multiple staff since then left voicemails for accounting.
Please know if you have any complications , this Marriott staff is not helpful, doesn’t respond in a timely manner if at all, no conflict resolution skills and apparently short staffed.

It was an unfortunate choice for our 2 night stay.two
Pros:

There was very little to really ‘like’ about this property. There was a lively bar tender and a wonderfully helpful Irish woman at the reception area. For the rest, this Marriott MUST do better!

Cons:

We arrived late on Dec. 26th after driving for many hours. We were placed in a room that looked onto an apt. building…a very close apt building would be our view for the next two days. We couldn’t open the window coverings because the building was so darn close and we had absolutely no privacy.
Our room was not tidied up at all during our stay despite our being gone most of the day. When we requested towels, they were brought to our room with attitude and dropped off without the slightest apology. The bathtub had the previous guests hair in it. The conditioner and shampoo containers had mold on them. (I have photos of both.) The parking is a raging $34/ night which is just way too high. The internet on the TV never worked and we could not sign in to any streaming service and we had someone in our room to address it to no avail. Truly, I’ve never had a worse stay in a hotel. We will never return there and quite honestly, Marriott needs to do better!
