Spacious, great location, great restaurant and fairly clean.
Both rooms smelled bad. Staff would not bring towels and one room ac barely worked. Breakfast although free was not good.

The bed feels like it was hit with a sledge hammer in the middle. The shower head was not working properly.

Room floor filthy pool had no towels and sand in pool way too much price for stay and we have stayed multiple times but bad experience this time when paying most!!

The beds, pillows, comforter were really comfortable.
The bathroom shower, tub, tile, counter, ceiling even were all very clean, a little rust on the vanity shelf, but that’s to be expected — sand, beach, water close to the floor water is going to get kicked up. Needs a sand and a paint but didn’t take away from my experience. The bathroom floor had one tile popping up under foot, noticeable, but not a true impact. Needs replacing. The caulk line between the tub, LVP tile or plastic tile is starting to get grimy - as in mildew is starting to show.
The overall cleanliness of the space, the floor, the desk in the room were fantastic. Walked in and it was 61 degrees.. Felt great, but for sleeping we turned it up about 10 degrees.
The shuttle to the beach on a 30 min rotation is great. Two complimentary chairs for the beach is a nice add, but we did not receive our blue bands at the start of our stay to designate we are paying patrons at Fenwick Inn. An oversight but not a big deal.
The key card access has a lot to be desired. It would lose the room assignment daily. We had to have it registered the three days we stayed. A small inconvenience when you get to the room.
The elevators are slow and hot.
The dnd door sign needs to be left in the room at the start of someone’s stay. I had to ask the maid twice for new ones.
Continental breakfast hours should be offered longer or not as early. Not everyone is up at the crack of dawn.
When its check in or check out, there needs to be full staff present — there was not or someone had to be called and even then someone was not always there to help. Not everyone in line is checking in or out. Some need a snacks or Tylenol. The process to buy something seems to take forever - set up a scan item pos and pay, not pull up a menu, type in something, wait sometime, then pay. The process seems antiquated.
There should be the ability to extend your stay for several hours, not have to pay for a whole other day knowing you can only extend up to one hour more.
Bright, fresh, breakfast. Not too far from the ocean. Chairs included. Complimentary water. Arcade.
Shower water pressure. I’ll never understand why hotels don’t invest in decent shower heads. Rooms should come with brooms bc you’re inevitably tracking in sand. Our body wash and conditioner were empty.

Breakfast area was not at all adequate for the amount of people and free breakfast not good. Coffee was from an automatic machine that also had hot chocolate ….. kids constantly touching and not employees to be seen?
