Great hotel and location. Very clean and modern. Large rooms. Very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only negative was the breakfast. Eggs were rubbery, potatoes were cold and bacon was very greasy. Rest of breakfast items were fine.
Breakfast was fine not great not horrible. Mediocre.
Staff was fine when we checked in. We arrived back in Ft. Lauderdale and needed temporary storage for luggage. Called and asked if we could they said yes. Arrived at hotel then said they can’t because manager said they couldn’t accommodate and for “safety reasons” they could not accept luggage which makes zero sense because we stayed there 3 days prior. Wasted 30 dollars on an uber. Had I been told on the phone no that’s one thing but to be told yes then turned away when you arrive is unacceptable
Friendly and helpful staff, great location for bars and restaurants. Clean and newly decorated.
This Hotel is a nightmare, we booked it because it got a good rating but that was a joke, the lobby is a debacle to say the least we booked our king suite well in advance and couldn't check in until after check in time because the room wasn't ready we were told there were 16 people waiting ahead of us we did arrive early as we were on a cruise. But never heard from the hotel as we waited for 6 hrs we finally called and where still told to call back with that said we were never offered use off the pool while we had to wait when our room was finally ready we got stuck at the end of the hall by the exit door and laundry room where the door slammed all night long. We are cruisers and love Fort Lauderdale but we will never stay here again the breakfast is not good either and the staff isn't very friendly but with the way the entrance and front desk are set up I'm sure it makes for a frustrating unorganized work atmosphere atmosphere also we had to call for a shuttle to the airport Sub contacted by the hotel that never showed up for our scheduled time to get to our plain when I called about our 7:45 pick at 8 am I was told they were busy and would get to us in a little bit. That's not acceptable when you have a flight to catch .
Stayed at this hotel the night before my cruise and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless, and the customer service was excellent. I also used the hotel’s cruise‑parking option and was very happy with the convenience. Breakfast was great—perfect before heading to the port.
In the past, I’ve used the shuttle service and it has always been excellent, though this time I chose to take an Uber. I also appreciate that the hotel displays all the cruises departing from the ports, which makes planning even easier.
Highly recommend this hotel for a pre‑cruise stay.
Rooms were clean
Breakfast needs to be bigger. There were to people for the amount of food. There was not enough seating for the guess
Great location and easy access to the airport, cruise terminal and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Uber was our choice for pick up and drop off and it was fairly priced and efficient too
Grote kamer, prima locatie.
Druk bij ontbijt
We enjoy the amenities, close to the cruise port, spacious and clean rooms, the breakfast buffet is very complete and hearty, the staff were friendly and helpful.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable and future guests deserve to be aware.
I arrived at this hotel at around 2 AM with my family after a long 6-hour flight and over 8 hours of total travel time, including two very young, exhausted children—only to be told that my check-in date had been changed without any notification. All of my confirmation emails reflected the correct booking, and there was no indication whatsoever of any modification. I called ahead a month ago letting them know we were going to arrive super late and wanted to make sure someone will be there to check us in.
To make matters worse, the hotel was fully booked and could not accommodate us. At that hour, with two tired kids and nowhere to go, we were left stranded in the lobby while the staff struggled to find a solution. Eventually, the receptionist located a room at Omni nearby, but it came at nearly three times the cost of our original reservation. We had no choice but to accept it and pay out-of-pocket, including transportation via Lyft in the middle of the night.
After our cruise, we returned for a second stay, which the hotel comped. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. The water in the sink and toilet—and likely the shower—had a noticeable yellow tint. It was visibly unclean and frankly disturbing. This raised serious concerns about hygiene and overall maintenance standards.
As a member of World of Hyatt, I expected a much higher level of service and support. Post-trip, there was little meaningful assistance. While the general manager provided 20,000 points in compensation, I had originally used 30,000 points for the two nights—and this does not even begin to cover the unexpected cost of the Omni stay and transportation. I am still at a significant loss.
Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience—from both the hotel itself and World of Hyatt customer service. Situations like this test how a brand treats its customers, and unfortunately, this response fell far short. This is not the level of care or accountability one would expect from a brand of this reputation.
I strongly urge future guests to double- and triple-confirm their reservations and to have contingency plans in place. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying here.
It was central
Bedroom ok but small. It incorporated the wash hand basin the bedroom because the toilet was too small
Nice modern room..only negative was that the breakfast included was hardly edible.Close to cruise port and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The location. It was a very short driving distance to the beach and to the airport. Recently renovated and we could tell everything was new🥰 Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Provide breakfast (should put turkey meat on the menu thou because we don’t eat pork) food still was good and cooks
We’re very apologetic because they didn’t have any turkey sausage.
No cons really we paid $201.00 for only 1 night but booking online was fast cheaper than paying inside the hotel and very fast
Very close to cruise port and really good shuttle for extra charge. This is pointed out so we knew to expect it. Also it is very close to restaurant and shops, you don’t need a car. We are runners so ran over the bridge to the beach which was great.Outback restaurant is really close and lots of cafes, a sports bar and supermarket nearby. Didn’t have breakfast as it was a bit of a bun fight but it looked ok. We went to local cafe which was brilliant.
Rooms clean and perfect prior to cruise. Staff helpful
Would recommend
The breakfast area is too small for the amount of people using it.
