Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff

We enjoyed a quiet night, excellent front desk help and a great breakfast!

Stayed here for 6 months during a job relocation and again on an overnight stay due to my past positive experience. Staff is super nice. Rooms are well equipped and comfy.

The hotel is in a convenient location with other hotels nearby. It felt like a very safe area. Interior and exterior was spotless. I loved that the room is spacious and full size fridge. Only negative is the sofa bed was very uncomfortable ( like springs poking in your back).

Great hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were terrific.

My only suggestion is that safety bars should be installed in the showers.

It was a nice stay for a business trip lasting a few days. The breakfast was very good as I have come to expect from Marriot hotels in general.

While the hotel is a bit dated, its layout is perfect for longer stays and excellent for families. The rooms are clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and they respond quickly to guests’ needs. Overall, it’s a comfortable and accommodating place to stay

This review is 15 months in the making. In January 2024, our family spent three weeks at the Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff after being displaced by a house fire and we returned again in April 2025 for a few days before moving back home. During both stays we enjoyed hospitality that is second to none.

The Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff checks all the boxes to meet the Marriott standard of a superior hotel in a safe, convenient location; clean and spacious rooms that follow the Residence Inn blueprint; and comfortable public spaces inside and outside. There are also numerous dining and shopping options just minutes away. Our family looked forward to the daily breakfast with a great selection of hot and cold offerings.

What makes this Residence Inn so special is its staff. Their heart for customer service is genuine in every area of the property, 24-7. Being from Knoxville, I was proud to witness them rolling out the welcome mat of Southern hospitality to guests from all over the country. During our two stays in 2024 and 2025, we spoke to a number of repeat guests. No surprise why they made return visits, just like us.

Traveling extensively in my job, I have stayed in Marriott properties for more than three years of my life since the early 2000s by my calculation. This property will always be my favorite for the care and compassion shown our family. Count on the Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff and its associates to provide a great stay of any length for business trips, leisure travel or when life throws a curve ball.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean.

This was our first stay at this Residence Inn, and it won't be our last! It appears dated as you enter--old carpet and dim lighting, but there were no "old smells" and it was very clean! Breakfast was fantastic both mornings. Our room was very clean and we had no issues.

The only thing I hated was our room was against the highway so I heard the traffic on I-40 all night. The staff was very accommodating will any request
