Refuses to refund our reservation!
Pros:

We booked our reservation through TripAdvisor on November 12, for one night on November 24th. When we got there the entire street was without power. There were at least 5 employees of the hotel in the lobby and they told us they couldn’t check us in or issue keys. The power wasn’t going to be restored until after 11:00 pm so we asked about a refund and were told it wouldn’t be a problem. When you call now, no one answers. Neither our bank card or TripAdvisor can get them to approve our refund.

Stay away from this business! Not professional or trustworthy.

Overnight hiking and casino trip with my love and our puppers.
Pros:

Had a wonderful experience at the woodlands. The staff was amazing. The restaurants were great. The property was very clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful. The room was immaculate. Very quiet. The price was great. It was in the perfect location for what we were doing. Very close to seven tubs recreation area which is great for hiking and very close to the casino which is awesome for some night time adult fun. It was just about the perfect getaway. Oh and very dog friendly.

I would not recommend this place to anyone
Pros:

The only thing we liked was the on-sight Shogun restaurant

Cons:

This place was disgusting. As soon as we opened the door to our room it smelled so bad. It smelled like a combination of mildew and stale cigarettes. My perfect description is a drug hotel. Everything about it was sketchy. It was so bad we didn’t even stay the night. We were afraid to sleep on the beds because of how dirty everything was. We decided to leave check out early and drive home.

Weekend Getaway
Pros:

Love having everything right there, the sushi restaurant is good and so it the bar and bistro. The property is just lovely. We were seeing at the FM Kirby Center so the location is perfect! Close to 7 Tubs to if you want to take a nice walk and enjoy nature. The front desk staff was very nice and efficient.

Cons:

It's very noisy at night. Lots of drunks and barking dogs. Saturday night was the worst, Sunday not as bad. I am wondering if the tower rooms are more quiet. Room was missing some basics like a bath mat and a luggage rack, nothing major but little things make a difference.

Get Better HELP!
Pros:

Haven't even been there yet and already having problems with reservation. Front Desk and Other phones Not working. When I do get a person I am given different answers about price, ect. All in all the Experience has Not been nice . I Will stay there Only because the event I am going to Is There but this will be the One and Only Visit. No one seems to Know the correct information and no one tells you Everything.

Needs updating: This was my second visit at this location, and things were falling apart on both visits. Water stains on ceiling from heating and cooling system leaking. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Sink water was brown
