The smell
Pros:

The staff was very nice.

Cons:

The hotel is not well kept. It has a funny smell. The first room we went to had stains on the floor and couch and stunk terribly of pet urine. They room that we moved to was better but there is a lot of torn away edges, walls in poor repair, the elevator is kind of scary as it shakes and vibrates, the pillows are extremely flat and the air conditioner temps were very inconsistent. One outlet in the bathroom brilliantly placed under the hanging hand towels and the lighting is all very dim throughout both the room and bathroom.

Pros:

Convenient Location.

Cons:

After breakfast, went back to the room and the key card did not work, went down to the front desk, told the clerk what happened and she gave me a key card, and that one did not work as well. We told the hotel Manager, she said they were sorry and walked off with a non-chalant attitude. Everything was fine until the key card moment.

It was a perfect place to sleep for the two nights we toured Grand Canyon.

Because we were busy, we didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities. However, there were plenty of other options for fun!
