Pros:

A Very Good Stay with Exceptional Service

Overall, I had a very good experience at Sheraton Ataköy. Like any hotel, you may encounter an issue or two, but what matters is how the hotel responds. Here, concerns were listened to and addressed in a timely and professional manner.

A special mention to Sertaç Ergün, Guest Experience Supervisor (Misafir İlişkileri Şefi), whose service was exceptional—attentive, professional, and genuinely focused on guest satisfaction. His personal attention made a real difference to our stay.

I would also like to recognize the housekeeping team on the 19th floor. Their service was consistent and had a genuine personal touch. The spa team were equally pleasant, while the ladies preparing eggs and the other dining staff were always welcoming, pleasant, and consistently acknowledged guests.

Breakfast is what you would expect from a five-star hotel—good variety and quality. One thing I particularly appreciated was that I never found an empty tray or dish; the team kept everything well stocked and maintained.

The location is another major advantage. The marina, shopping malls, and fine-dining options are around a 10-minute walk away, while many tourist attractions are approximately 15 minutes by taxi. The nearby mainline train station also provides convenient access to the Asian side of Istanbul, around a 15–20 minute journey.

No hotel is perfect, and every stay can come with minor issues. What impressed me about Sheraton Ataköy is that when something does arise, the team takes it seriously and works to resolve it promptly.

Overall, I would happily recommend Sheraton Ataköy. The excellent staff, great location, consistency, and genuine willingness to resolve concerns made our stay a positive one.

A special thank you to Sertaç Ergün, the 19th-floor housekeeping team, the spa staff, and the wonderful dining team for making us feel welcome.

Très bon séjour ! Le personnel est super gentil, accueillant et surtout très attentionné. On sent vraiment qu’il se soucie de savoir si tout se passe bien. C’est vraiment appréciable de voir que l’hôtel est à l’écoute de ses clients.

L’emplacement est génial, l’hôtel est propre, bien équipé et on s’y sent vraiment bien. La qualité est au rendez-vous. Je recommande 👍

I am always staying on the Sheraton what I notice is the bed sheets it used be better new and clean this time although I am renting suite is old and the cleaning needs to be improved.

A bit old but with good maintenance hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Pool area as well.

Cons:

I paid a deposit of 100£ at check in for mini bar, at check out they made me 0,01 £ of refund saying the money will be later…. Curious if will get anything apart of 0,01

Great spa, but the hotel needs improvement.
Pros:

The spa was exceptional. I went with my teenage daughter, and we both really enjoyed the hammam and massage experience. Ary, Mey and Gusti were very attentive, kind and welcoming, and made it a lovely and relaxing experience to share with my daughter.

The food was also very good, both at breakfast and at the restaurant. We also really appreciated the beautiful greenery surrounding the outdoor pool, which created a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

The price does not reflect the quality of what we found at the hotel.

First of all, when we arrived, the toilet flushing system was broken and someone had to come and repair it immediately after we checked in. The bathtub in one of the rooms was leaking, which meant the towels were constantly wet. At the spa, the tap on one of the sinks literally came off in my hand.

The swimming pool was being cleaned during its advertised opening hours. We arrived with the children specifically because we knew the pool was supposed to be open, only to be told we could not use it because it was being cleaned. Pool maintenance should obviously be carried out outside opening hours, not while guests are supposed to have access to it.

The windows were extremely dirty, and overall it is clear that the hotel has not been renovated or properly maintained for quite some time.

We requested housekeeping for our room, but the only thing that was done was making the bed. The room was not vacuumed, and even the complimentary water was not replaced.

We had also left a cash deposit at reception. At one point, I was contacted and asked to come down to reception because we had exceeded the deposit amount. When I called to ask why I needed to come downstairs, considering that we were checking out the following day and could simply settle the outstanding amount then, I was told that there was actually no need for me to come down after all.

Overall, the experience was well below what we expected, especially considering the price of the hotel.

We are sure that we will stay again in this hotel on our next trip to Istanbul.
Pros:

Everything was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Ms. Ipek at the front desk was so nice and very helpful. She made a wonderful surprise and upgraded our room with an excellent view. In short, all the staff, activities, breakfast, etc. at the hotel were so good.
