Very nice. We liked.
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. Beds were amazingly comfy. Shower was nice, room was spacious, and location of hotel gave us everything we needed with very close proximity.

Cons:

Could use a drying rack for swimwear and other wet gear. Toilet also was weak and didn't have much flush.

Pros:

Very central, close to all the cafes & restaurants & market. Room was spacious & modern. Lifts were a bit slow.

Cons:

Noise from level 3. We were on level 10, so it wasn’t all that bad.

It was a pleasant experience
Pros:

Location was good walking distance to the all the shops & cairns esplanade.

Cons:

The restaurant & the bar was only open on Wednesday to Saturday. Wish it was open at least on Sunday.

Convenient location, very comfy stay!
Pros:

This hotel is in an excellent inner city location with most activities within a 400-600 metre flat walk. We were impressed with the larger than normal, sound-proof rooms, amazingly comfy bed (best sleep we’ve had in years!), nice toiletries, hot shower, decent sized fridge and microwave, comfy armchair, large area for suitcases and hanging clothes, and quite a good selection of TV channels. The lovely pool area is a feature, as are the stunning views from rooms on the higher floors! Staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful, especially the reception and housekeeping staff who went out of their way to assist us with helpful advice and support for our holiday in Cairns.

Cons:

They have a very nice bar/restaurant area, but the bar/restaurant was closed for most of our stay: only open Wed-Sun, but a buffet breakfast is available in the restaurant area every morning.

Great city stay
Pros:

Fantastic facilities, great bar and happy hour.
Very friendly welcoming reception staff and check in .
Clean room , comfy bed.
Great location with walking distance to everywhere.

Cons:

Very small balcony .
Pillows way to big and uncomfortable, both woke up with sore necks .

Overall it wasn’t what we expected.
Pros:

Bed was comfy and location is great

Cons:

No complimentary bottled water was provided. Shower gel was only provided on request. There was no complimentary body lotion like other hotels provide.
