Upon entering the room it smelled wet and damp almost like having a room in the basement.. Black mold on bathroom ceiling. Old coffee filter/pod left in the coffee machine. shampoo and conditioners left empty, not enough towels for family of three but we made no fuss. We took the room because it was already paid for, tried to get a voucher prior to check-in due to our power being back on but it was too late to cancel. Kitchen employee filling up coffee in her mug and grabbing breakfast items for herself before refilling parts of the breakfast line... Since it was our first time and only one night we stayed quiet and civil only to later be called and informed that we were banned from the baymont because we were accused of cancelling our reservation and still wanting to stay …even though we were there as planned and checked in because the room was PAID for in FULL , no refunds were made or asked for. We checked out respectfully then made to feel like we were the problem. Would never go back if I could and don’t advise anyone else to waste money staying there. What an insult
When I booked, it said you take Affirm, when I got there it was not acceptable. I had to use another form of payment that I expecting to use. I called before arriving and informed that I could check at 2:30 pm. The desk assistant who was on duty on 8/7/26 was rude. Although it was 3 minutes before 3pm, she never looked up from computer until address her. She told me to "sit down ", I am 75 years old and have never been spoken to so rudely.

The room was clean and generally a good place to stay in.
The staff was rude upon my arrival. I had to wait one hour past our reserved check in time and the woman working the front desk did not tell the next person in charge that I was waiting. This caused us to miss our reservations downtown. Additionally, the fire alarm seemed to have gone off in the hallway around 3:00 in the morning on our first night, however, it was not clear inside the room, I believe this is a safety issue and if a real fire were to have occurred could have caused injury.
Also, there was quite a off putting smell and humidity after the 1st night

The entire hotel smelled from the moment that we walked in we thought that the chlorine smell that we were smelling was because they had a pool however we found out that they didn't and every room smell like this it was stale and funky
Close to Venue. Centrally located by restaurants
WI-FI signal is weak to non-existent in the rooms towards the back of the hotel. I have mentioned this on 2 occasions. Room had a moldy smell after being there for a while. It smelled good at first.
Easy to find, gentleman at the front desk was courteous and nice. Asked for a $50.00 dollar for room! We had already paid for the room! The price we paid for one night not worth it.
Not clean the smell when you go into the room! At check out waited st front desk for someone to come to desk.. Not once did they ask if our stay was good!

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. For the price that I paid, I expected more. Friday night I didn’t get any sleep at all. I don’t know whether there was construction going on in the hotel are what but someone knocked on the wall and floor all night. Also, we had to beg and plead for towels.
