Good stop over for 1 night.
Pros:

Bed and room comfortable and clean. Asked for room away from noise and it was very quiet. Good variety at breakfast. All the staff were very pleasant.

Pros:

Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

The only downside was an unpleasant smell near the front desk/entrance area. However, this did not affect the room itself, which was very clean and enjoyable.

Aside from that minor issue, I was satisfied with my stay and would still consider coming back.

Perfect in Effingham ILL.
Pros:

Lge room. Clean, nice furniture. Lg king bed, sleeper couch,large bathroom, adult size toilets.
Close to restaurants and shopping.
Breakfast included.

May look for a different hotel next time through Effingham.
Pros:

The rooms are clean. The lobby is attractive.

Cons:

The tub would not drain for either of us when showering. The hair dryer was knotted into the bag so tightly that we almost had to rip the bag to get it out. The carpet was soiled near the elevator and the cement was stained in the front of the hotel. The alarm clock went off at 6am and nobody mentioned breakfast at check-in. .

This Is The Hotel!!
Pros:

We live out of state. My family is here. This hotel is our go to for staying in Effingham when we visit. The cleanliness is awesome! Very nicely decorated in the lobby and the rooms. The housekeeping is 100%! If you need to decide which hotel in Effingham Illinois, this is the one. And Adera was awesome helping me!! Kat, the housekeeper on our floor could not clean our room any better. Just perfect!

First time in a La Quinta
Pros:

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast disappointing- had Cheerios which had to be 10 years old! I would stay again though if in the area
