I liked that my room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. It was close to the venue where I was going. So it made it very convenient.
Nothing.
Everything from the moment we arrived to the city. It was bad. Service was meh. The place smelled bad when you got in the hallway. Where were the stairs? Why are they hard to find? Why are there stains all over the room on the carpet & the walls? Why does it smell like somebody urinated? Why is it not clean? We checked in, put our bag on the bed, left for a concert, came back, grabbed our things, gave the keys back & drove home. We used the toilet one time. There is no way anybody should stay there unless its an Oxford house or they turn it into a facility of some sort. That was horrid. 0/10 awful. I will be getting my money back.
Room size, location, convenience, friendly customer service and experience…love it…!!
It’s under renovation…
Fire alarm went off at 10:30 pm for 2 hours. The building was being worked on and the stairwell light were discontinued. Very scary for a false alarm.
Check in was easy, location was good. Construction is not a good look.....
No coffee in the morning, had to wait 30 minutes for someone to make coffee at 8:00 AM!
A compressor kicked on at 5:10 AM in the room next to me.
The entire building where my room was, the third floor, was a construction site, with paint, drywall, sanding pads and garbage in the stairway.
The front desk staff was really nice
I didn't like anything considering I booked this hotel under the impression there was a pool. Because they didn't mention that they took it away .
I made a reservation for the whole weekend & paid for it . Yet When I showed up, the person at the desk tried telling me I didn't have a reservation & I had to sit there for over 2 hours while they figured it out.

0 out of 5 stars across the board! Ignore the 1 star I *had* to give. Bottom line, the Shilo Inn Suites flat out overbooked their property on 7/18/26. They cancelled my reservation and when I checked in Saturday evening, they told me it was the third-party booking site I used that cancelled my reservation. They completely lied, blamed it on Expedia. All in favor for some guest who booked their reservation direct with the hotel. They chose their margins over a new customer. And when I continued to probe they became super defensive and stopped answering any of my questions. They became unwilling to rectify the situation. It was only later, as I was on the phone with a competing hotel in Salem, that they offered me a room at a Red Lion property 35mins down the road. Not ideal, as I was in Salem for the Half Ironman race that began at 6:15a on 7/19.
After calling my credit card, with whom I made the reservation, they confirmed this was likely the scenario after they contacted the hotel who could not produce proof that my reservation was cancelled.
Do not patron this hotel, they do not deserve your business. Also, I paid $212 for the room. Expedia's rate was $122.47. And Shilo's direct booking rate is $189. How about them margins, eh?!
Good TV channels
Super outdated room. Strained sheet and towels. No breakfast although it was advertised. Parking lot dirty from construction, I woke up with a flat torw due to a big screw i picked up outta the parking lot. Lots of bums and dogs barking all night. Couldn't sleep.
Large room
The entire place was under construction and should have been shut down. The advertised pool, hot tub, and sauna were no longer functional. And the elevator was super sketchy. I might be remembering wrong, but there wasn't any breakfast. Parking was limited as well.
Bed comfortable and front desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
The bathroom tub was not clean.
Clean, comfortable and affordable for someone just traveling through
The bathtub floor was creaky and questionable as to its safety but they are doing a remodel, so I'm sure that will be addressed in the remodel
Good 1 night stop. Great value and friendly. Workers
