Promenade Inn & Suites Oceanfront

As much as I hate giving bad reviews, this is not a good place to stay. My husband stayed here when it was Shiloh and it was bad. Rooms were old and dirty, sliders didn’t open easily to the balcony, holes and rips in the walls, sheets spelled like perfume not been washed and dirty carpet. Since I saw remodeling had happened I gave it another try. It was exactly the same. As a hotel, I would be embarrassed to even allow a guest to stay in the room we stayed in. The ocean view was the only good thing about the room. However it took an army to open the blinds and the slider to even see the ocean.

Bailey was awesome!! We got upgraded for anniversary after calling and finding out they were full. Then our heater had some problems and they quickly fixed it with no hesitation. View to the ocean was amazing. We needed this time to ourselves and will be returning with the rest of the family on another trip!

It waw walking distance to all the shopping areas. We love the beach view n the staff was amazingly helpful n very nice. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

The stay was amazing

The room was nice and airy and my only concern was the space on the 5th floor renovation. Possible for someone to fall through

Room has ocean and turn around views. A big portion of the view off the deck was the roof of Mo's... which although clean was still the industrial roof of a restaurant
The room felt old- renovation of the hotel is ongoing so I'm guessing that will be resolved. The amount of space and available seating was great for the 2 of us.

Poor room for the price. Walls were thin, could hear people in the neighboring room.

The room we stayed in on the second floor didn’t have any airflow and had an unpleasant smell. The fan cord wasn’t long enough to plug in and then put in door way to help. Definitely need AC or a ceiling fan.

The view was amazing, enjoyed our stay

Smells terrible like mildew. Lots of major renovations making it unsafe for families with little ones. Pool was extremely gross. No AC at all.

This property delivers more than it promises but it is also undergoing renovations (summer 2025)and is a lady getting a refresh on her makeup. The kitchenette and oversized rooms with killer balconies make it heavenly! We are already booked for next year and so are our friends!

I chose a no view room, just walk to the beach for the view. This is a nice property. I've stayed three times. They have had construction and day time noise all three times over three years. It's handled well but there is noise and clutter. The beach and view from view rooms is awesome. Noise in the room was minimal. Hot tub has an ocean view. I don't like the 4 p.m. check in time and charging for early check in. It seems to be the norm for Oregon and California motels. Convenient for the property not for the customer.

The ocean view from the balcony was amazing along with the promenade! We were on the 3rd floor but be sure to avoid the 2nd floor because there is much obstruction! The staff were very helpful.
