Séjour agréable.. j'y reviendrai l'année prochaine.
Pros:

Petit déj correct et varié.

Cons:

on a eu une petite chambre au 5 éme étage, mais la vue sur la place Taksim a été géniale.
On a bien apprécié l'emplacement de l'hôtel à 1 minute de l'avenue istiklal très animé.

AVOID THIS HOTEL – Dodgy Practices and Unsanitary Room

Do not trust the high ratings for this property. I booked a room for a brief 7-hour transit stay, and the experience was appalling from the moment I walked in. This establishment operates with highly suspicious and unprofessional practices.

My total was €202.36 to be paid upon arrival. I handed the receptionist €202 in cash, and he politely told me not to worry about the 36 cents. However, he then explicitly pressured me to cancel my reservation directly on the Booking.com app so the hotel could avoid paying the platform's commission fee (He said it will be tips for the staff).

When I rightfully refused, his attitude completely changed. He retaliated by demanding the 36 cents he had just excused, actually telling me to walk to a nearby currency exchange just to get the coins. I told him to give me my cash back so I could simply pay the exact full amount by credit card instead. Conveniently, he then claimed the credit card machine was "broken" to force the cash transaction. After arguing, he took the remaining 20 cents I had in my pocket, acting as if he was doing me a massive favor by covering the rest. The entire interaction was disgusting and wasting time.

Beyond the shady service, the room was unsanitary. I found disturbing stains on the bed, which I have documented and included in the photo attachments of this review.

The facilities are just as bad. The reception area is very small, and the elevator feels like a safety hazard. It vibrates during the ride and is so incredibly tiny that it barely fits four adults without luggage.

I only chose this place for my short layover because of the location and the misleadingly high reviews. I would absolutely never book this hotel again.
