Avoid this place at all costs right now. They are under new management and got rid of the free breakfast, closed the pool, and closed the hot tub. The hallway’s ceilings were covered in black mold. The room barely met minimal standards. TV didn’t because it wasn’t mounted to the wall and the sensor was blocked. Toilet barely flushed. Shower temperature wouldn’t get warmer than Luke warm. Then the Cherry on top, someone threw up in the lobby and it stunk of spoiled milk. No one did anything about the wretched smell for 36ish hours when I said enough is enough. I had prepaid for three nights and left after two because this place was so disgustingly awful. Again, avoid this place at all costs right now!
The staff was nice.
The pool and hot tub were closed.
There was no breakfast.
The TV would glitch.
No phone in room.
It was great
I never checked in. I was called in the early afternoon and was told that the Baymont Motel had no water. I stopped when I reached my destination and found that was true.
My phone tells me I checked in, but I was not given a room and went to another motel nearby.
The place didn’t come close to living up to images and amenities listed in the property description. It’s quite run down looking, smells musty, and is in general disrepair. The comforter and sheets had holes in them, like they are so worn they are kind of shredding apart in spots. I was very disappointed.
No breakfast, no pool, no vending machines…. Nothing.
Pictures were very deceiving, hotel is VERY old posters in elevator were at least 10-15 years old. Pool was closed
no milk for cereal at breakfast no toast or butter cold sandwiches very very bad
Dont stay here!
Very dirty!smells like mold! The lobby looks horrific i dont know the last time its been swept/mopped & rooms are not the best looking!
The bathroom towel rack was broken and absent. The breakfast was poor - waffles and eggs premade, not in plastic, and looking too old to eat. Only apple juice. Pool was closed indefinitely. Shabby look all around.
Filthy, bugs, utter disrepair, and breakfast was a joke. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Please go somewhere else this place was beyond nasty. The ceiling was falling down in our room and smelled horribly. I’ll be expecting a refund
I checked in for 4 days/3 nights stay. It was a cheap price that i got from Expedia. The front desk guy gave me a red flag by asking me if I did not want my room, he can change it for me. I did not like it actually but i did not want to go back to the front desk anymore. The conditon of the room is sad, old, and lacks maintenance. The other side of the drape was missing. Ceiling paints are chipping, cables or cords of the TV are hanging, old room lamps either have busted bulbs, no bulbs and flickering bulbs. The baseboard is made of carpet, falling apart. My bed smelled like sweat so i used my 2 sheets to cover it up. The stairs leading to the upper floors are dirty. The breakfast room is so poorly maintained. No plates but small bowls and tiny saucers. You have to microwave a cold waffle and frozen fried egg. I see this hotel as sad, old and badly needing maintenance and upgrade. By the way, the towels they provided were old, has torn on the edges, some stains as well. The coffee machine has a reused coffee filter. I got 2 opened packets of coffee sets, missing stirrers. Desperately, I bought my instant coffee at a nearby store but I forgot to buy creamer. So I used the creamer in the packet in my room. It was smelling old, like expired. I tried the other one, same old smell. I do not know why this hotel even passes the US standards for safety and sanitation. Very poor and sad state of this hotel. The lobby smelled like curry, no joke, and the hallway smelled like marijuana.
Had to deal with 3 messed up rooms before getting one right . Broken TVs in two rooms and incorrect bedding in another
Very professional people
Door on inside of bathroom has a big crack in it. The room was freezing cold when we arrived. To me the room was not ready
I had NEVER had an experience like this one. As soon as I walked into the hotel I knew something was wrong. It did not look like the web pix. The walls half painted, the carpet full of stains, and the ceiling full of water damage. When I walked into the room I was hit with the most horrible smell. The floor boards had mold, the walls were dirty, the lamp shades were disgusting, the air vent was covered in dirt, the windows were dirty, and the bathroom made me want to throw up. I immediately told my husband we were not staying there. It would have been negligence against my 4 year old to have her stay in this place. Just by being in the room I could imagine the bed bugs and other critters in the wall. I cannot understand how this place is still up and running. It is disgusting.
You get what you pay for. Property is somewhat rundown. Towels were scratchy. Bedding was thin. Toilet not fully attached to the wall. Difficult to find at night as the building was hidden behind an old restaurant with no lights on the sign or hidden driveway. The breakfast was very sparse and had to buy a real breakfast elsewhere.
Grounds around property are horrible. Looks abandoned. Front desk lady was pleasant but everything else was horrid. Couldn't get tv to work, tried calling front desk, got no answer. Then there were kids running up and down the hallway. Didn't have coffee available before 6am. Would have made it in my room but the coffee maker looked disgusting. Avoid this place!!!!
Broken fridge . No heat . Inconvenient. Frozen chicken patties for breakfast?!? Wild experience..
Absolutely disgusting experience all around
