A hotel with good potential and a past positive experience, but currently very poorly maintained
Pros:

En mi estancia anterior (noviembre) el hotel cumplió muy bien: la alberca estaba climatizada, el hotel y las habitaciones estaban limpias, y el precio de la habitación estaba bien balanceado en relación costo–beneficio. Aunque la comida es cara, en esa ocasión no me importó pagarla por la experiencia general. El personal del restaurante fue muy amable.

Cons:

En esta estancia de febrero la experiencia fue totalmente distinta.
Desde la llegada, en recepción no mostraron flexibilidad, nos dijeron que la habitación no estaba lista y nos hicieron esperar hasta la hora oficial de check-in, a pesar de que el hotel estuvo prácticamente vacío durante los tres días; no había razón real para no entregarla antes. Tuvimos que esperar en una oficina y finalmente nos la dieron apenas unos 20 minutos antes.

La alberca estaba congelada e imposible de usar, además de muy sucia, con tierra flotando e insectos. Las fuentes estaban sin agua y sucias, el jardín completamente descuidado, con el pasto seco y amarillo. El servicio fue muy deficiente, con poco personal disponible, y en recepción el trato fue seco y poco amable.

Aunque en el restaurante el trato fue cordial, el precio fue excesivo: una hamburguesa, un sándwich y tres refrescos costaron $1,650 MXN (propina incluida). Finalmente, a mi esposa le comentaron que el hotel no se procura en temporada baja, lo cual resulta inaceptable.
