I have stayed in this hotel several times and am quite happy with it. It is one of the cheapest hotels in London and is only a short walk to Marble Arch tube station. There is a very good cafe that serves breakfast just around the corner (it is closed for refurbishment but will open again soon). Everyone is friendly and they are available to check in late. I have booked at short notice several times after missing the last tube back to my car.
As one of the cheapest hotels in London, it is not going to be five star luxury. People should take the cost into account before leaving bad reviews. I don't mind walking down the corridor to a shared bathroom or the carpets being a bit threadbare. That's what cheap hotels are about. There is always a clean towel, enough toilet paper and shower gel, so the basics are being adequately catered for. I come from an old upper class family. In our value system the most important things to spend money on are land and private school fees. In comparison, expensive hotels and restaurants are an extravagant waste of money.
It was in a really good location, staff were helpful when we left our key in the room and check in/check out was quick. The beds were comfy and the room itself was decent size.
The rooms weren’t very clean (dust in the corners etc) but weren’t awful, the bathrooms however were disgusting. I had a bottom floor room with an en-suite bathroom and the shower was covered in mould, all the grout had mould and even the shower head so the water coming out would pass through bits of mould

The room was a bit dirty and there was some water on the bathroom floor witch would never dry out and the shower tray was blocked and when we had shower it would fill up and taken some time to drain away.

הזמנו חדר זוגי וקיבלנו כביכול שדרוג בחינם לחדר משפחתי בקומת מרתף למטה. כנראה פשוט אף אחד לא רוצה את החדר הזה. יש דלת נוספת מאוד קטנה בכניסה למדרגות המרתף . החדר היה מטונף מאוד! שאריות שיער בכל מקום אבק ולכלוך אפילו על המצעים ואפילו המזרון הזוגי היה קרוע מצידו ומאוד לא נוח. היה ריח של טחב ועובש בחדר כי לא טרחו כנראה לאוורר אותו המון זמן והיונק אוויר בשירותים גם לא עובד. העמידו את המיטה הזוגית בחדר בצורה כזאת שהיא חוסמת חלק מהדלת כניסה לחדר. אין שקעי חשמל ליד המיטות. אין קומקום חשמלי או פינת קפה בחדר. יש מסך טלוויזיה עתיק מיושן שטוח וקטן מאוד בערך 17 אינצ שלא עובד ולא היה מחובר אפילו לחשמל ונראה שהוא שם רק כדי לרשום שיש טלוויזיה בחדר . יש חלודה ועובש במקלחת ובכיור והכול שבור וישן ונראה מטונף כאילו שבחיים אף אחד לא תחזק את החדר הזה. יש חלונות עם וילונות ישנים עם נוף לקיר ולמחסן שמתחת למפלס הרחוב .אין אטימה נגד רעש ושומעים את כל הרעש שמגיע מהרחוב כולל אורחים שיוצאים לכניסה לעשן ואם פותחים חלון לאוורר את החדר אז גם הריח של העשן נכנס פנימה! מי שמזמין פה חדר אני ממליץ לדרוש מראש בהזמנה שהחדר לא יהיה חדר בקומת מרתף! המלון הזה טוב למי שלא מפריע לו רעש ושלא נגעל מלכלוך של אחרים ומחפש מקום רק בשביל מקלחת ולישון. ממליץ לכם לנער את המצעים מהאבק ולשים מגבת על הרצפה שלא תדרכו על שערות ולכלוך של מבקרים קודמים. התמונות שהמלון שם באתר של בוקינג זה כנראה מיום הפתיחה שהכל היה נראה חדש ויפה. יצא לי כבר לבקר בהוסטלים שהיו ברמה הרבה הרבה יותר גבוהה של תחזוקה ונקיון לעומת המקום המוזנח הזה

I’m writing to express how truly upsetting and unacceptable our experience was during our stay at Berkeley Court Hotel on 28 May.
Upon entering our room, we were shocked to find it had clearly not been cleaned or prepared. The bed was used, there were visible stains on the pillow, and to make matters worse, there were used condoms in the bin — a clear health and hygiene violation. We were deeply uncomfortable and disturbed. We did not use the room and took photos immediately.
After raising this with hotel staff, we were moved to a second room, but unfortunately, the problems only continued.
The new room had:
• No door knob, making it unsafe
• No hot water, making it unusable for washing or showering
• A missing tap handle, so the sink couldn’t even run water
• Filthy curtains, contributing further to the feeling that cleanliness and guest comfort are not a priority at this hotel
We were incredibly disappointed. This was meant to be a relaxing short break, but instead, it turned into a stressful and uncomfortable situation. We did not feel safe, clean, or welcome — and we were forced to cut our stay short and leave the hotel entirely.
We are requesting a full refund for this booking. The state of both rooms is a complete violation of what Booking.com promises in terms of quality, cleanliness, and guest care.
We have attached photo evidence to support everything mentioned above and are happy to provide any additional details if needed.

קבענו עם המקום בצ׳אט בווצאפ כניסה לחדר ב10:00 בבוקר. הגענו בשעה הזאת והחדר לא היה מוכן, הקבלה בכלל לא ידעה שאני אמורים לבוא. למרות הצ׳אט בווצאפ. הגענו עם המון מזוודות ולקח המון זמן עד שעזרו לנו לשמור על החפצים בגלל הטעות שלהם שנוכל לצאת להסתובב. מקום מאוד לא נוח הרבה מדרגות היינו בקומה העליונה והיינו צריכים להעלות את כל הציוד לבד. לסיכום חוויה רעה מאוד. לא ממליץ.
