Good location, fantastic room with a little kitchenette, free tea or coffee in the lounge and an electric massager or dyson airwrap to borrow for free during your stay plus free laundry facilities too!
Could do with bowls not just plates but thats just a very very small easy to live without thing.

This hotel met our needs for the 3 days we were here. It was very good to have a coffee machine in the downstairs lounge area we could access, and staff were friendly in our interactions with them. Location was a little out of the busyness of the tourist areas, but there were buses and train/subway lines that got us places we wanted to be. Some good neighbourhood traditional restaurants within a 10-12 minute walk.
Small room but space for our bags and belongings. Value for money, but additional spending on getting to places we wanted probably negated that. Good to have strong air con and a fridge in the heat of summer.
It was good to be able to drop our bags near the Kyoto railway station on arrival for free transfer to the hotel.
Location wasn't in the middle of the action - it meant it was quieter, but that we spent more time getting into town. After a 24-hour journey, waiting an additional 4 hours for the 3pm check-in was very difficult.
Everything at the price of the room- free toiletries, free tea and coffee all day, free alcohol tests and free foot massager. Rooms clean and beds very comfy.

Really nice hotel.
Washing machines are really slow even if free. One wash is 4-5 hours. The hotel is not close to Kyoto station on foot.
