This was my first GloblalStay stay and so the model was a little of a mystery and took some work to figure out its unique rules. I did eventually get on track. It's a great bargain compared to the other options I was looking at in Toronto. The place was immaculate and the ability to park in the building was a plus. The kitchen was useful. Everything I needed was there. Plus a balcony! Great value.
The property is not bad but check in was a nightmare. They do not respond when u call them, my elderly mom and I were stuck in the underground parking trying to find the locks and we could not get back to the elevators so we were basically locked in the hot mess, since the doors to elevators were locked without the fob. After much waiting ans asking around i finally found the locks but the one for the apartment has faded numbers. Do not rely on the instructions and photos, they are outdated and do not work. Finally we got upstairs, the apartment is for 6 people, my brother was going to visit to pick up me and my mom and so i added him and they charged me extra. The apartment is not very organized, there are sheets all over, not folded properly, and there are multiple confusing instructions. The location is good but property management team is not good to my opinion. Unfortunately i have to rate this stay very poor.
Great Location and Really nice Property on 3rd floor (Apt 302)... The nutty deposit situation where you have to send money via Paypal with a picture of yourself holding ID is a pain and the Checkin procedure with lock-box in the Basement are a pain, but didnt distract from what was a very pleasurable stay.
Once there we couldn’t find where we needed to park. Then when we were ready to leave we left the keys in the apartment as it asks and we were locked in a small area near parking and needed the keys to open any door.
There was a lack of communication and poor directions and when we tried to call every single number, nobody picked up. Check out was 11. We were out by 9:30 and there was nobody to answer any of our call calls with the buttons on the walls.. was a terrible experience honestly. But the bed was comfy but the bed was comfy and we did have a good view. But that alone was not worth the money.
Hard to get communication due to no host or staff at there. Small problem happens about parking entrance because of key battery power out. So we need pay to park at same place. I will not recommend this place. No solution for problems if happens.

I was originally going to give Global Stay a very high rating despite the check in process. It wasn’t too hard to figure out but after a long day of traveling, I can see how people have a hard time. The room was great. It wasn’t until we had realized we lost the key and FOB to our room that this trip became a nightmare. We got into the lobby around 1:30 am. Thankfully, the security at reception was very helpful and let us stay in the lobby to figure things out. As we waited, we were strung along and were told that someone would come to help us. By 4:30 am, we started getting anxious and kept calling customer service. We were answered with a very rude representative that told us they had no way to get anyone to let us in our room. She told us that we would have to wait until the morning -no time was given- for the crew to come and help us. Throughout the night/early morning, we kept trying to contact their customer service and the cell phone number that was given and found we had been blocked on both my cell and my husbands cell. When we finally were able to reach someone around 9 am we were strung along again and were told the cleaning lady would come and let us in at check out time. I told her we may have to ask for a late check out just so we didn’t start racking up fees because we had no idea when we would be let into our room. She said she would look into it and let us know. 11:00 comes around and we started looking around for the cleaning lady only to see right before 11
I will be submitting a formal complaint. The place was digesting and it took 2 hours to check in. Not happy at all
Great location, very clean and they communicated very well. We definitely stay here again lots of lighting, comfortable beds, definite five star.
The remote and tv wasn’t working so we couldnt watch tv and we didn’t love that we had to do our own laundry and wash our dishes. We are already paying to stay there we were t paying to clean up … so we didn’t love that. But it was clean and tidy
Checking in is a nightmare, terrible communication
but the place is nice and convenient . They go behind the Expedia and ask for extra security deposit. In my opinion Expedia shouldn’t represent them
I paid for 2 full bathrooms, but the shower in the master bath was not working. I reported that immediately on our first morning. They did not pick up the phone, so I sent an email. They did not respond until late morning the next day - 2nd morning gone! I responded back, but they didn’t. Additionally, the balcony door was defective so we couldn’t get to the balcony. This was also reported. Lighting in the kitchen and main room was also awful. Given all this, I recommend to NOT rent this place.
The property and location was great but we were unable to get the door to the balcony to open and the TV did not work.
Property is clean, located in a good location, building has access to transit. Outstanding place. However on the down side,
The check in process included taking your mugshot with passport and sending it to a foreign laguage speaking person, then comes finding the keys. Also, the temperature controls could not be found. Ohh, you have to wash the dishes, linen, and empty the garbage before you leave.
The check in process took a little too long. We couldnt get a hold of anyone to give check in procedures. It gets emailed to you with instructions. In the time it took to get a hold of someone and talk with expedia support an hour passed by.
Bed bug infestation, no support from property and no support from Hotels.com. We ended up leaving early in the middle of the night.
Parking is a bit confusing but once you get in and find the keys, you are good to go. Be careful which way you exit into the parking garage upon leaving, if u go out the wrong door, you will have a bit of a walk to get back in and down to your car.
Other than that, the stay was very comfortable and worth the money.

Well equipped kitchen. Excellent location.
Registration process was a nightmare. Having to do everything on-line ourselves was not easy. Trying to locate lock boxes was frustrating and stressful. Locating correct Parking Garage was an odyssey. After leaving keys in condo, could not access parking. Instructions should include: Go to lobby first so they can let you into parking. Overall, it was a very stressful one night stay for two seniors.
Instructions for check in were inaccurate to some degree and qr code didn’t work in parking garage(no cell service). Beyond the rigamarole, clean comfy place. Check out was less of a hassle (simply leave keys on kitchen table) but then parking level was not accessible from elevator. It’s a long way to walk to car when you’re hauling a bunch of stuff by yourself.
