Unfortunately it is an unsafe place, my wife got severe head injury and lacerations, she had several stitches. It all happened after we have visited the roof ( their employee recommended us to go there), when going down the stairs she grabbed the chain for support and a piece of concrete fell on her head from the roof! The funniest thing - hotel management blamed us for what happened from the beginning. Cannot recommend! (Trying third time to attach some photos).

1. Staff: Other than the 2 people I have mentioned, these people are clueless. We were shocked to see that it is a Teardrop property. The check-in took 1 hour. No one paid attention, so we had to ask 'Are you guys going to do anything about us or not?'
2 . Quality of the property: Bathrooms are not cleaned properly, and the property needs maintenance. Initially, we booked a tower room, but the window broke down, and the AC was not working properly either. So we had to request another room.

I must admit, just before coming we were a little apprehensive following some recent bad reviews. I am quite perplexed at these as our visit was flawless. The hotel has undergone a recent ownership change, so maybe some of the issues had been as a result of this. However, I can’t say I noticed anything of issue during our stay.

Rooms were tired and need a lot of care and attention to bring them up to the pictures on the website and the price that the previous owner charged. I can’t comment on current offers.
I felt sad to visit at a time when I could see how wonderful it could be, but probably won’t go back to experience the future regeneration as there are so many other places I want to visit.

The restaurant service is extremely slow and waiters don’t seem to know the menu and tend to disappear during your meal. Even though there were max 4 groups of diners eating at any point the service was extremely disappointing and trying to order additional drinks took so long it wasn’t worth the wait! We raised our issue with the manager who admitted they were short staffed but still due to the amount of waiters (approx 2) to the number of guests it didn’t really explain why service was so slow.

The setting is pretty remote and you have to go through very bumpy roads to get into the town

Nothing - everything exceptional

Staff were unprepared and service was lacking. Things were regularly forgotten/took too long or just became bewildering complex - ordering a drink at the pool bar and it took over 30 minutes despite us being the only customers; trying to just get two menus at the table and it being confusing to the staff; trying to order coffee at breakfast and just getting blank stares from our waiter etc. Felt like there was a lack of training, or maybe we came at a time when the regular team were out? We were also staying for our honeymoon, something that was forgotten until we were leaving, at which point someone came out asking if we’d had our cake and offering to pack it for us. It was well intentioned, but it was frustrating how unsmooth the service was throughout our stay. We ended up clearing our own tables/collecting our own drinks etc just to simplify/speed things along. It was still a pleasant stay, but it seemed like there was some chaos happening behind the scenes.

No kettle, tea/coffee or fridge in room & despite asking twice, one was not delivered to our room during our stay as promised. Cost of additional activities is extremely high which discouraged participation.

Der Zimmerpreis ist etwas teuer und auch die Bootstour war nicht günstig. Kleine Schwächen an der Ausstattung und am Konzept (kein Kaffee am Zimmer, kein Kühlschrank, aber leider auch kein Zimmerservice).
