Beautiful hotel lovely room and cosy reception.staff we're polite especially a girl called Aleisha and staff on f&b. Tasty breakfast and lots of choice.rooms we're good value

Had a lovely stay with my partner for our anniversary, the location is brilliant it’s close to everything. Staff were so helpful on directions giving us some amazing ideas on activities to do during our stay.

Breakfast was superb wonderful choice on the buffet and accommodated for veggie sausages and fried eggs. Breakfast staff were very helpful and chatty!

Went in for a drink after visiting a nearby restaurant. Great cocktails and service.
Lady on reception showed us a few rooms as we expressed an interest in staying.

Such a perfect location, right in the centre, everything is no more than a 10 minute walk.

The hotel is quirky and very relaxed, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Some bits need a bit of a spruce up but with a hotel steeped in such an amazing history and its location, those things really don't matter!
Great value for money too. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

A great hotel. It is very central to everything, we were able to walk everywhere. Room was lovely, staff friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

This room was huge. I could sprint from one side to the next!

The beds were super comfy.

Bathroom had a spa bath which was super relaxing.

All the staff we encountered were lovely.

The buffet breakfast was tasty.

I'd read some reviews beforehand about the cosmetic issues, mouldy windows etc. But this is to be expected with such an old building. I found the glass paneling over the original windows made the room super quiet. You would not think you were in a busy city!

As soon as we walked in we was greeted by Jimmy who gave us a very warm welcome, he kindly let us leave our bags until check in was available. We really enjoyed our stay everything was perfect. Melanie is such a lovely woman, a true gem to Dixy Dean, Melanie went over and beyond for us especially as on my birthday night she arranged for our champagne to be in an ice bucket once we returned in after dinner. Just by the service provided especially by Melanie we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Great location, close to city centre, walking distance to attractions. Great welcoming team, above & beyond on our stay, room was perfect for what we needed, extra treat was the spa bath was amazing!
Melanie was extremely helpful in advising us on our Journey home, checking transport & making our journey back was guaranteed.

Stayed at this hotel had pre theatre drinks hotel is fabulous staff are lovely very welcoming. Cocktails on form and reasonably priced will definitely be booking again.

Met up with some friends for drinks before the foo fighters concert and the atmosphere was great. They had some foo fighters music on and the staff were very welcoming!

My train was delayed so decided to walk in for a breakfast - what a great move. Lovely warm welcome, prompt service and a wonderful full English to set me up for the day! Adding poached eggs rather than the scrambled which were part of the buffet selection was no problem, nor were the constant coffee and orange juice top ups. Great value too. Recommended.

Stayed in the hotel last weekend 19th to 21st June. Very happy with my experience. Staff were so helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. I hope to return to Liverpool again with my wife as the whole Liverpool experience was wonderful and will look to book into the Dixie Dean hotel also.

stayed on the 1st floor room was absolutely beautiful and all staff was very kind and it was a warm welcoming when walking in to reception thanks for a unbelievable stay will definitely be back

stayed in the 12 sleeper cave with my friends for a hen party was a brilliant experience will definitely do it again beautiful restaurant breakfast was great and lovely staff throughout the whole building beautiful reception area very clean and tidy and up to my standards will be definitely be back

We had a lovely time there to celebrate our birthdays, staff are very friendly, rooms are amazing and everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast is also very good

Visited for a family party and stayed here the weekend, stayed in the dixie previously and the experience is always amazing. will be back x

Location of this hotel was amazing . It was close by to the theatre as we went to watch the bodyguard. The hotel room was huge. 2 massive beds for 2 people both were very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t find the tea facilities but found them in the wardrobe. Might be better to put it on the huge table as you walk in . We had to put it on the bedside table as no plugs close by. The bathroom again was amazing. 2 x roll top baths and a jet bath with a shower above. The bathroom was clean and plenty of towels however the bathroom did have an awful smell like musty?. I couldn’t really explain the smell and the flooring wasn’t the bed but we did enjoy our stay and would probably return the breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. All staff were polite and helpful

Complete dirty hole!! Arrived a few weeks ago for a hen party stayed in room 106! Firstly our booking was for 3 rooms of 6, luckily there was only 4 of us because this room would not have slept 6! Whole room smelt like damp and needed serious upgrading! The shower was a trickle when set to warm you could have peed harder! Reported this to reception and the girl was nothing short of rude! Sent someone to look at the shower didn’t believe them and came herself. Set the shower to cold and told us it was working but when turned to warm it was a trickle, after some back and forth she said she would get someone to come on the Saturday and fix the shower. Lo and behold it was never fixed! Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone there is nothing luxury about it! Given the negative experience the hotel is in a great location and central to everything.
