Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of selection. The hotel was beautifully decorated. The rooms were nice.
Our room wasn't ready upon arrival.
We got upgraded to a suite on the 9th floor but we were not made aware of the noise that would come from the rooftop bar, which only stopped at 1am.
Like everything about the Vermont. It is our "go to" when staying in town. Room looked directly on to the railway from one window and castle from the other.
We didn't hear a sound from the trains and had a great night sleep.
In our opinion, the rooms could now do with an upgrade.
A beautiful hotel, well worth the money
Nothing
All very good
Parking is always a challenge
The staff were helpful
The key cards didn’t work. The advertised sauna didn’t work. There was dirt in the room. The room was very dated.
Location was really good and all the staff were so helpful
The noise from the next room was ridiculous, walls must be paper thin, also the room was really small
There was maintenance work at the elevator in the morning that woke us up as it started at 9am
The comfort of the bed and the bath etc
The Drilling in maintenance works beginning from 8.30 am without warning.. The none disclosure that room service could not be added to bill and had to be paid at the door. The staff being very dismissive if me when I mentioned this. The fact I haven't my £50 deposit back yet. 10 hours after check out. The fact that they tried to get me to buy breakfast when I had already paid for it as part of the package. The fact that there was a request by me for the room which was agreed via email but not delivered
Service is extremely poor
Untrained staff (when you can find them)
Service or lack of
Ideally located, love the decor, staff are really friendly.
Warm honest welcome, safe parking. Paul couldn’t do enough to help , great stay topped off with a full English,
Only down side could be the ongoing work updating the property but this had no effect on our great experience.
