Great location - short walk to Newcastle centre or lift to ground floor to Newcastle Quayside. Room - clean comfortable and quiet. Staff - Front of House Staff were pleasant and helpful as were the Staff who serviced the room during our stay. Bars - we used the Redwood Bar during our stay - a very comfortable and charming room. Breakfast had a varied choice and again the breakfast room was very pleasant.
Nothing to fault - we were very well looked after and completely at ease during our stay. Refurbishment work was being carried out to various parts of the hotel including a lift - this did not affect our stay as any work we saw carried out did not have any impact on us as guests. It would appear the refurbishment work will be completed shortly.
Loved staying at the Vermont & would not hesitate to stay again. From the location to the wonderful staff. Breakfast was first class and our room was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights in a standard double room and it had everything we needed. Beautifully furnished too. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I thought the car parking was a little on the high side @ £20 for 24 hours. But liked that we could park right outside the hotel.
Room was clean comfortable and great view. All staff were very friendly, professional and efficient.
Room service sandwiches, were stale, only salad was lettuce, VERY expensive £9.50 + £5 for bringing to room. Continually thumping of music from Above bar in evening.
