Clean, beautiful and comfortable.
The layout, the restaurant, the shuttle, the room we got to stay in. The location of the hotel. Everything was just wonderful.
Great views, nice amenities, COMFORTABLE BED, and continental breakfast. CAN'T GO WRONG. Nice location for exploring some of the smaller cities historic downtown areas and also wineries and breweries.
not a whole lot to say here. the continental breakfast was a little lacking but it was also a half hour before breakfast ended on a Sunday so you can expect it be sparse. BUT the staff was busy trying to keep things full regardless.
This place was definitely a 5 star!!!
Nothing
Breakfast choices were fine. But let’s start with perhaps sweeping and mopping the floors by morning opening. There was even butter still smeared on the floor from the previous day. And what’s the deal with picture hanging/ changing during breakfast hours!? Couldn’t wait till 9:00 AM? They apologized for disturbing us but come on. We also encountered a bartender that couldn’t make a drink unless she was using instructions. We wrote it off to her possibly being new but a little training was needed. Public bathroom near check in had no soap in one dispensary for the entire stay. A very minor thing but little things add up especially if you are pricing your property as top tier. We encountered a fairly new front desk clerk who had little clue how to add an extra day to our reservation. We thought it was clearly taken care of until housekeeping showed up and said we needed to check out of the room. We eventually got this hassle fixed and dealing with Julia on this matter was a breath of fresh air. Competent and friendly. Best of your staff IMHO. Now to the food: flatbread bbq and calamari. These were simply not eatable. Calling that crap calamari was a bad joke. Good thing the breading on it was ok to eat. Pure rubbery whitefish. Flatbread needs to be cooked till crust is done. Horribly undercooked and nearly raw. With only beer and wine cocktails it’s hard to establish atmosphere and a relaxing environment. $66 for this just made me shake my head. Make it WORTH the price. Now to be fair, my wife and I both worked for Mr. Steve Wynn, owner of the Mirage, Bellagio, Wynn and Encore casinos in Las Vegas for nearly 30 years. Customer service and cleanliness were drilled into us every day so we naturally have a critical eye and notice when things aren’t done to his award winning standards. But this hotel needs someone to fine tune this operation. It is a very nice property with potential but standards are not reaching price points. Step up your game people. Hunter Dhue

I made this reservation for my Granddaughter and her boyfriend as a gift for her 24th Birthday on Christmas Eve. They also stayed there last year and loved it!!
All the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic.
Thank you. (Grandma, Mary Lynn)
This is a beautiful hotel, but you must be prepared to pay extra for parking, Internet, poolside Cabana, and so on. What most galls me is a mandatory $20 "Daily Amenity Fee," which was a total surprise.
If you aren't bothered by such "incidental" fees when you check out, then you will have a delightful stay. The staff are all helpful, and the on-site restaurant was surprisingly good.
This is now the hotel Vista Sierra. Still part of Marriott Bonvoy.
Really nice property with modern touches especially gathering places in the lobby.
Props to Juliana - one of the managers who recognized my platinum status and upgraded us without having to ask. More important, Juliana has the heart for hospitality, which was evident in how she interacted with all guests.
Nice spot in Auburn for those needing a hotel!
We had a great weekend. Rooms were nice along with the pool and lobby. Juliana (Jules) was a great help. She brings the energy. The E bikes are great as well.
Views are great! Conveniently located to wine country, snow, and family
